Civ/Tribal planets is NOT always T3's, I've seen them as T1's and T2's too.

The guides way of killing a Civ planet is NOT the optimal way of doing this.

Drop a Monolith, uplift the planet to space and take it over, then you get a HOME PLANET with 8+ cities. That means a 50+ Spice planet instead of just 30.

Right now I am eyeing a juicey system that has blue, green and pink spice in it, unfortunately for some reason it won't let me drop a monolith on it. On another note, I have a system that has three blue spice planets, 1 green spice and 1 pink spice. I'm making a killing on it since I have terraformed the planets into all T3 planets with spice crates on them with optimal spice production, I never have to leave the system and I am clipping nearly 5mill sporebux just sitting around and collecting spice by orbiting the planets then trading once I have enough spice to warrant trading.

Edit: Just to clarify, you can't "purchase" a T3 system and receive more than 3 colonies, you need to take it with force.

Not entirely true. I've bought out a number of homeworlds like this. I managed to get a T3 purple spice planet with 80 storage by raising up a civilization, terraforming their world, and then buying them out. I have noticed that if their ecosystem is not sufficiently filled out (the entire T1 row at least must be filled out) they won't actually have any spice production and will just have a single city which you can't improve.

However, from what I hear the spice production for a bought homeworld is halved. I can't confirm this, but its still fast enough that I have more money than I know what to do with.

Red - 17,000
Yellow - 22,000
Blue - 26,000
Green - 50,000
Pink - 56,000
Purple - 73,000

Prices per unit, max I've seen. If you set up 3 colonies with a 120+ production cycle and a spice storage, you can come pick up 30 purple units ever couple of minutes. I've got 5 purple spice planets right now and seriously wondering why I need any more empire. With just these selling at 73k/u I rarely ever have under 25,000,000 and usually have at least 10 of every expendable module on board at any given time, including planet busters.

You can't really plan fixed routes, though. The prices fluctuate more than a little over time. It's not hard finding someone selling at max, though. I just keep letting the spices build up in my cargo and sell whenever I happen by someone with a good buying price.

This is why purple spice rocks.

Just a few things to add.

TRADE, i find it very usefull. Once you have diplomatic standings with an race, increse standings with trade in diplomatic relations with them. Trade with usefull planets, eg once that have PINK spice, or Their Capitol. Once you have some cash flow, this system will be your for the purcase. You have now increased standings, gained a useful planet, and expanded your empire without combat, and very little effort.

STANDINGS with HOSTILES. You need to get a hostile race on your side. Go to a T0 planet of theirs, and make it T3, they will love you after. A very quick way of incresing standings. Do this to a couple of planets, the go from -100 -> 100 in a very short time. If you have the abilities, this is also a very cheap way to do it.

Just for the record, you can't get more than 99,999,999 spore bucks. The only thing left for me to do is keep buying stuffz.

After getting the mini bomb, I'd get the shield. You are basically immune to attacks (long enough to destroy 3-5 cities on a T3) and you can click AoE heal (cheap, high heal for your fleet) afterwards to finish the job.

I had a question though, while attacking the cities don't the other ship come in to attack you? That is why I usually wait until I get the shield to start fighting.

Drop that AoE heal over a city and it will also heal buildings/turrets.

my strategy on making more starsystem is to just take minibomb or better if i have and just destroy that 1 city. planets with more cities i just destroy 2-3 and die and gome back to destroy few. its good cuz when u get that system still with about 6-5 citys and they can product as many spice as normal "citys" do (i dont know english name). they make spice so fast and in one game that planet was pink =D

1) shield definately helps. some people may look at it and think "bah.. just a shield... itll probably take like 100 damage and go away.. like in all those MMO's and stuff"... but this shield is EXTREMELY POWERFUL... it can last MINUTES... under heavy fire... so getting the shield is a bonus.

2) yes. but thats why you take allied ships. they will take the attention off you. you can also bribe your allies into attacking that planet, that way the enemy ships will probably be too busy defending against your allies' fleet to even come near yours. i usually do this when i wanna take over T0, T1, T2 planets. I try to avoid calling for allied help when storming T3 planets (for the reasons stated in the guide).

I've bought nearly 60-70 planet busters so far. It's a nice way of spending money once you hit the cap. Just buy 10 when you reach it, then when you reach it again, buy 10 more.

I'm amazing, and I know it.

Hi,

this guide is awesome, it'll probably help me a lot, but I still have some questions:

I reached Space stage and everything went well, I was exploring some planets but somehow some aliens are angry with me (I didn't do anything, the face was red from in the beginning) now they attack me every second (I already lost all my colonies) so everything I have left is my home planet, and when I finally "save" my planet they immediately attack again ...
now, can I just ignore their attacks and let them destroy my planet? What'll happen if I do so, will I lose all planets, or do you always have 1 planet left? I only have my own spaceship and an allied spaceship, so what is the best way the conquer my attackers?

Grtz
