Thats already possible, if you place an connector somewhere then place an body on it then turn the connector around then drag the body upwards with ctrl to make it independent and then use ctrl and shift to move the body to where you want it to be, then you can.

You know, I think I'll pass on this mod. I dont really see any use for it. Plus, what happens when you get GA?

It will work with GA, we made need to get a patch but it will be like just having another parts pack.

Yes, however at the moment no new abilities, we may have higher levels of already made abilities later on, but at the moment it will just be different combos of maxis made abilities.

I hate to be negative - I highly respect your skills in modding spore, I did't think adding parts or any other major mod was possible.
But I have to admit that I'm not especially excited about the parts shown in the screenshot.

The main problem I see with them, is that the parts look the same on all the screenshots - they have the same size and shape on all of them. Do the new parts even have morph channels? Or at least the option to scale them up or down? Maybe its just a unlucky choice of screenshots - but if you really can't morph or scale the new parts, then I fear they are next to useless.

Another problem I have with the screenshots is that the shown parts don't fit to non-sentient creatures at all.
With the textures and shapes they have they would be great additions to the outfitter parts, and maybe the vehicle parts too. But on the creatures in the screenshots they look awful.
I mean, this gun-like part would look awesome if placed on the arm of a armored space warrior dude - but a non sentient creature with 4 guns sticking out of its chest??? Come on, you can do better than that! You should have really taken the extra 5 minutes in the creature editor to present the new parts in a more attractive way.

No problem being negative, especially if its constructive like yours is.

They can be changed in size and do have some of the morphs. You can't change the shape of it, however you can put it anywhere/anyway you like and change the size like everything else.

Well the gun is still in alpha (along with about 10 other new parts), there wasn't really any other way to present it, and we are looking to import them into the outfitter editor. Also as you can see some of those screenshots include the parts from the hidden cell editor.
