Iraultza87's creations are really something, especially that artillery piece.

One thing, I admit I'm a little cautious of saying this, but I'm really surprised LordVarmint isn't a judge. His creation quality is pretty good, and particularly given how much he's contributed to the Spore community through his Asymmetric templates, I would have thought that he counted as a top creator.

The correct term would be Top Buddied Creators, and there is an official list for it under tha Stats category of your Community page in spore.com. Maxis calls it the Top Creator list. Semantics really. TCP is based on that list and takes its name from there because a major premise of the project is that we have the ability to reach out to our substantial subscriber base (which is as many as 35,000) via announcements that can be used to promote the featured creator/creations on a large scale. And we have proven that premise correct as we are seeing effects comparable to, if not more potent than, a Maxis feature or MPN shortlist status. I have personally great respect for LV's work and fully support his region project, I think its a wonderful community effort.

@LoDoubt: You could have said you were using my templates, i'd have come by and rated them at least... but thankyou for the plug.

@Masscolder: I'm glad the work you guys at TCP put in is paying off.
Iraultza87 has a unique and original style, bags of ability and imagination.
He's struggled to get recognition for that despite winning a clutch of ship contests. Mostly due to the underwhelming way machines often appear in the .png in my opinion...
I'm very happy to see some really serious looking sci-fi hardware seeing the limelight for once.
It can't have been easy to pick so few to show from the massive library of cool stuff in Iraultza's Vaultz.

@masscolder: Thats fair enough, given that there is a statistic measure of the top creators, it would be wrong not to use that.

@LordVarmint: I recently figured out how to do asymmetric vehicles myself, but its almost impossible to find a how to on it, and I've been looking a long time. Your templates have in that sense at least given a great many lesser creators who wouldn't otherwise be able to, the ability to create asymmetric vehicles, and while certainly there are other people out there doing this, yours are unobstrusive and instructive.

So accordingly those vehicles I used your templates for, I've left the tags with, and usually credited in the description, those I did myself, I haven't.

Long story short, I'm grateful, a lot of other people are, and also this may not be the right thread for this.

Couple of notes:

To avoid trophies, announcements, and showcases showing up in game, I'm going to encourage everyone involved to freedom cheat them (just a tad so they can upload still).

Also rating announcement is unnecessary. Their purpose is reaching subscribers and they achieve that by simply being uploaded. They don't need to be on the MPN. And if you'd like to congratulate the features, the best thing to do is wait for them to upload their trophies and leave a comment/rate there. Needless to say the best way to support the effort is comment/rate/subscribe features.

And speaking of that, I'd like to say a big BIG thanks to everyone for making this effort a success. We all had high hopes and needless to say put a lot of work in TCP but the results have surpassed our expectations, and the feature has only been up for a weekend. So yet again, thank you to everyone who has been supporting the project!

Is anyone having problems with the Sporecast? Im hearing the featured creations are not showing in game.

I just think it's a nice gesture to subscribers not to have announcements, trophies, and showcases flying around their games. Wow, excellent judging, I added this guy straight away. How exactly did you find him?

I really want to be in this contest im really new but i have taken apart other peoples creations then used my findings from that to make great creatures. could someone atleast take a look at them i only have 5 subscribers.please

@MrAlex92, the beauty of having so many different judges is that they are quite aware of worthwhile creators/creations within their own "genres". Ira was unknown to the genral public, but not to the people who work with similar designs.

@loganT455, this isn't really a contest, however, if your work is considered meeting the criteria of what we're looking for, the people responsible for generating names for our list of people to be featured will do what's needed. ^^

Haha, I remember Nixonoid from way back when i had just gotten my hands on the CC Good to have grim back Congratulations to Ira, I buddied you some time ago and your work is fantastic!
