We will not mass downrate. That has been our rule for ages. Mass downrating is noobish and makes us no better than those who spam with C&S, we would just be being noobish in a diffrent way.

Downrates are fine if used sparingly. However, mass downrates are the opposite.

CrazyShyness, I remember you saying that C&S players think the adventures are funny is because the way they die (like Kenny). You have a very good point, but...

The only way I see them die in user created adventures is them randomly walking into disguised mines and exploding.

And besides, none of the Maxis missions ever had them explode at all. They had unique ways to bring Clark and Stanley's demise. It was usually because of their own stupidity (chumming the water for dolphins, and getting mauled by sharks, or standing in the middle of the road and getting ran over by Mr. Puzzle's truck). Almost every user-created clark and stanley involves them randomly exploding for no reason.

Take this scenario, "Clark and Stanley make a painting"

The captain talks to Clark, and then he and Stanley walk to the paint eisel, which is disguised as a mine, and they explode.

Shouldn't there be more originality in it? Perhaps the creatures that Clark and Stanley painted come to life and kill them (a joke on the painter Henri Rousseau, who got scared of one of his own jungle paintings).

Overall, the more creativity in something, the better it is. And since Clark and Stanley adventures have no creativity at all, they are overall low-quality.

True that. I guess people like C&S for two reasons:

1: They didn't get the memo about the new point change.
2: They enjoy seeing two idiots die.
3: (For the makers) They want to be popular with as little work as possible.

I've actually considered making a C&S at one point, just to see how many views and uprates I would get. But I just don't feel like it. Instead I'm currently making a Red vs Blue adventure. So far I have spent a week on it. Will it get many plays, no. Will I feel good I made it, yes.

There will probably end up being a bit more. A few haven't been uploaded yet since I made them in the adventure editor. So yeah... Hopefully it will be epic.

I actually made one, but I tried to make it good. It's called Clark and Stanley go Firewalking.

That's the same spirit I'm doing my adventures. And even if ONE player (besides me) is happy with my adventure, i'm happy. But one week work... how many hours a day?

Oh and by the way have you seen, we are now hated too!

just at the time the C&S-Adventures are fading from the MPNA.
