I need help. I recently purchased Spore for my Vista PC and I've played it several times. However, now, when I go to play, the autorun won't bring up the game. Any ideas?

My game won't run! Autorun doesnt work and I have no idea why. Does anyone have any ideas?

Please tell us that you are not using the same testing process that was used on the first patch. Forgive my very cynical view, but after the first patch it is up to EA/Maxis to rebuild confidence. A good start would be a patch that repairs not only the original issues, post patch issues and also the ability to actually install the patch, which is still a problem for me. When this new patch comes out will it address the failed install of the first patch? There is still quite a few of gamers that the patch did not install originally and are still get the "old file not found, However, a file of the same was found. No update done since contents differ."

I'm running SporeApp straight off the disc itself. Works every time, though sometimes it may take up to 5 minutes to start the game itself. Use that time to get yourself a drink or a snack or something.

OOOH finally a bone..... here's it to being an epically decent patch to keep all the dissapointed ones happy till the REAL game comes out! for 30 - 40 bucks MORE!. If this patch just fixes the bugs .. I will be severely dissapointed.
