I agree with Tutthoth, even if Code Geass is awesome, which it is.

I have been getting blue screen of death since I installed this patch. SPORE was only freezing up a bit until i got the 1.04 patch that was required for galactic adventures. Is that why the game crashes and blue screens? Is it a problem with the 1.04 Patch?

Ummm... yeah, about online and in-game profiles, I have another profile I LITERALLY never use and want to get rid of. How do I delete Other profiles? Oh, BTW, it's not a master profile.

Well all I saw was the title so I don't know if this applies to the topic but, I created another account, under fearripper, I wanna delete it, but I can't figure out how.... Can you help?

You can't delete them.

Sometimes support will IF you don't have any more open accounts OR the are obscene nonsense. But normally they won't. Especially if you have other names to use, or other open slots.

Well, the guy BEFORE fearripper had a legitimate question, which makes it NOT necro-ing.

And then fearripper asked the SAME question, but refuses to read the answer.

So it's still NOT necro-ed.

If a person, even a silly one, adds content or asks a legitimate question it is NOT a necro. Not on this forum.

Man, I hate that "let it die" stuff. I dont' care what you think personally, the RULE is that it is not necro-ed if content is added.

You cannot delete a page name, but...
use the logout option at the top of the forum and then close the tab.
On your "my Spore page, under the settings tab, change your default screen name to who you want to be
close all your spore tabs, except one, log out of that.
login to just emailid@wherever.com
tell it to remember you.
you should be logged in as your newly set default id.
go to the community tab, select forums.
If it doesn't log you in automaticlly, login to just emailid@wherever.com
tell it to remember you

You should be logged in as the new default you chose across the board now.

You know, I've been on boards that did both, and that is a very good question.

I personally like the option of necroing when new information or questions come up. It makes searches easier, because most of the information is contained in a single thread.

There are quite a few professional boards (as you must know) that operate that way.

I see the point in not necroing, if the board is a social one, where most of the commentary has to do with current TV shows, shipping or stuff like that.

But I think Maxis made a wise choice to allow awakening a thread for new information.

If they have a limit on age, they should implement and autolock function. I've built those for help databases, and I'c guess forums have them built in by now.

That would obviate the whole issue of "how old is too old".

Maxis for the win! EA, on the other hand... But this is a step in the right direction.
