I think this would be a fun thing to do but realize it would take a lot of time and effort to implement.

Sorry I've been trying to be really positive about this but I absolutely hate the changes. The site went from a uniquely designed site...tailored for a game like spore...to what looks like a facebook or myspace page.

Looks really generic and dumbed down, its takes up to 30 seconds for my page to load everything after I bring it up and responding to comments are a real chore now considering all the steps you have to take just bring them up and read them. I like the old layout so much more.

I agree...the beautiful thing about the old layout was that it was fast and designed for people who were creating everyday. Too much information, too slow and now the few creations you can see are lost on the page. I was checking in on my page almost every hour.....now because of the extra steps and the slowness, I doubt I will be as active......but thanks for the effort and I have no doubt it will continue to get better!

Loading a creation by clicking its direct url or its image in sporepedia seems to take longer time now.

Ya know I think there's been a forum glitch with post counts. For example, a lot of times when I look at SMBB's thing under his name it says he has 1000 something posts. But I click his profile and it says he has 800 something. Same with MaxisCactus, and I'm sure the other mods and admins.

Not sure if this has been suggested yet. But in the sporepedia, can it list your buddies in alphabetical order please, I spend most of my time during commenting looking for thier stuff, but cannot find them. Putting them in alphabetical order will ease my, and I'm sure others, frustrations in this area.

I'd like sporecasts to do the same too please.

That and the issue with multiple account sign in has not been addressed, when I sign in:

FireTiger(rest of email removed) and put in my password it logs me into my last sub account (FireTiger's Pal) this is really annoying as there is no way to delete the sub accounts.

It might seem like a good idea to you, but consider this...I have the PSC named as follows:
Prehistoria, Ediacaran, Cambrian, Silurian...etc, and they are arranged in order of epoch.

If these are alphabetized, I'll have to do a lot of scrolling when sporecasting dinos (which are what I sporecast most often). I have enough troubles getting the scrollbar to even appear (it usually takes about ten+ page refreshes).

If you are concerned about the order of your sporecasts, try this simple tweak:

Change the keywords of any sporecast, but make sure there is a comma every two words or fewer. Save the new keywords. Voila, that sporecast is moved to the top of your sporecast list. Repeat as needed. I'm glad I discovered this feature. It helps me keep my most important casts up top.

I hate the new website design. its clumsy and hard to find what you want.

I try to use the spore website as little as possible.. Since i live in EU i have the EU spore website. This website is mabye the most clumsy, laggy website ive ever used. It often crashes completly and spore creators and thumbnails are often not visible! From Januar-Mars i wasen't able to approve comment's and i could not rate, not comment, not anything! That was pretty anoying. Ive heard of player's that have been forced to quit spore cause of the many glichtes on the sporepedia and the website (such as Reiderman). When great creators are forced to stop playing cause of all the fails and glichtes it's time to do something!

Another annoying thing about the website is that is one for EU and one for the US. That is extremly annoyng when you are gonna post a link to your creatures at the Sporum. It also seems that the US website is better than the EU, cause you can more easely browse creatures.. and it's clearly faster. Please stop to make differenses between EU and US in Spore. (as releasing GA 3days before in US )

I believe there are entire threads completely removed from this forum. There is of course a small possibility of it simply just being me not having found it. But that possibility is, by now, very small.
So, I wonder, what would be the reason for an entire thread to be deleted?

By the time I last saw such thread, there was nothing that should be offensive being discussed.
There was technical details being discussed, but none that EA or Maxis own.
And there are much older threads available so it's not an issue of moving to a new forum or cleaning out old stuff.

It seems overly clumsy and responding to comments, etc is now a huge chore. Please revert to the old design.

I would really like Maxis to come out with a section for most popular creations and most popular adventures because right now all of the adventures are blocking out most of the creeations also when are you going to start featuring players adventures?

I waited a while before posting to see if the problems I'm experiencing with the new layout were in the process of being worked out, but it seems not. I too experience a terrible lag waiting for the My Spore page to load and often times instead of loading I find myself logged out. This will happen when browsing the sporepedia as well. I'll be waiting for a page to load and the wait will seem a little longer than normal. Next thing you know, I'm logged out. Very annoying. Not a big fan of the new changes. Do like the addition of the download now button and the creation tracking stats to curtail stealing creations and claiming them as ones own. Great job there, but everything else just seems to have slowed the site terribly and caused a lot of aggravation. I'm pretty sure from the posts I have read here, that I am not alone in dreading going to the Spore site to upload, browse, or publish sporecasts. If EA wants people to use the site as it was intended these problems really need to be addressed before people start saying "The heck with it" and not bothering any more with trying to publish or interact through the site.

My feedback: While MOST of spore.com loads fast... my spore page takes FOREVER to load... it worked FINE the way it was BEFORE galactic adventures... it wasn't broken... why did you have to "fix" it? please, for the love of bob... optimize the loading!! Too many widgets! Give me back my old loading speed...
