For the longest time, I kept getting a debug error when in the editor which caused my game to crash. This would usually be a pain in the SPORE when I was in the middle of building something and I forgot to save. Then after I had to reinstall the game because of another error, the debug error disappeared. I would still save frequently on my own just in case but I hope for the error to have disappeared.

Now, all of a sudden I had another one of those annoying debug errors that caused the game to crash and guess what - I didn't save! D:

Would it be too much to ask to add an autosave option for the editors? It'll surely ease my nerves if I am building a rather complex building and the game throws me back to the desktop without a last-minute save of what I've been working so hard for the past hour. o_O

Personally, I'd like an autosave feature for the whole game. It should be achievement based, meaning that it doesn't just save at timed intervals, just when you actually DO something, like terraforming a new planet, finding a rare item, making an ally, finding Earth or the Galactic Core, etc. It should also be able to be toggled off at will so that certain badges can be achieved without screwing up the rest of the game (Oh, the humanity!) and so the modders and testers don't do the same.

My 0.02$ worth,

LJ
