i have (or rather, had) two saved games (planets) really close to each other.
well, i allied with the planet that was my other saved game.
well IMMEDIATELY after i allied with them a plague/eco-disaster breaks out.
well when i went to stop the plague I COULDN'T DO ANYTHING.
no laser, no teleport beam, nothing to get rid of the plague.
it said "this can't be used in this system".
it subsequently wiped out a better part of the planet knocking it down from a T3 with multiple cities to a T2 planet with two cities (worse still this actually affected my actual saved game).

WHAT THE **** if you're going to allow allying of planets that are other saved games, and allow disasters on those planets that i have to fix. THEN LET ME FIX THEM! ONE OF THESE TWO SITUATIONS HAS TO BE FIXED!! thankfully the save that was ruined wasn't all that important and i just deleted the save. BUT THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED.

i havn't had this exact of problem yet but some thing a little like it dealing with two of my savegame planets where i was playing one of my planets and when i allied the other it made it like i was playing that other save game and put their image showing as what i was playing of the two creatures had to delete the planet because of it, just wanted to give a little warning on allying your own creatures in space if you try to do it ever again
