pardon my n00bness...when you people say subscribers, is this the number you see in game when youre at the spore info page? or is this the count of people actually subscribing to your sporecasts? Im kinda confused because the one SC i do have only shows 10 subs, but in game I see 64 or something 'subscribers'...is this people buddying with me as well as in my sporecasts?

It's the amount of people that have buddied you The one on your spore page ingame. Which means you have more subs than me Nice

The subscribers we are talking about are the ones you see in game. When people say how many subscribers we have, we don't mean from sporecasts. Subscribing to a creator and subscribing to a sporecast are different. Those 64 subscribers are creators who have buddied you and does not include the ones that subscribed to your sporecast. There isn't an accumulated number anywhere on the site or in game that counts your sporecast subscribers. You have to click on each sporecast individually and add them up yourself. Buddies and subscribers are the same thing.

Yes it does, thanks for clearing that up. I was assuming sporecast subs were the numbers people were going on about, like rebecca1208 with 1500+ =) That little tidbit just made my day, thanks =)

No, becks has well over 1500 now.

If it counted sporecasts MaudDibb, I would have over 2,000 subs

Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows if there is a chance that Maxis would allow it to work for thos over 500 subs - I am fast approaching that milestone, and would like to know.

Ah, right, at least Maxis have been made aware of it. Hope they can sort it out. I use the tool a lot for the TGS - am getting bored of seeing the number 500

Well, I think there is a way. I tried to tweak around with the original link and got this far.

Just don't know what you could put in next. Just substituting the original text with "sporecasts" didn't work.

No, that's not who has subscribed to your sporecasts, that feed is just the sporecasts you've subscribed to.

How you have it, it just means that the username "subscribers" has subscribed to 0 sporecasts. And it says "<status>0</status>" because there is no username "subscribers".

If you put in "http://www.spore.com/rest/sporecasts/Sakiara" It says I am subscribed to two sporecasts (Botanica and The Space Civ Contest Entries). It also says the id, author, description, tags, rating, last update, how many creations are in the sporecast, and the number of people who subscribed to the sporecast too.

This is awesome. Don't ever unstickied. This is very useful. I hope they make one for the sporecast. I want to know who is sub to my sporecast.
