the solution will probably come in a patch with other fixes too, so it could be finished but will be released with the other fixes. I mean, have you ever heard of a patch that only fixes 1 bug? ever?(i reposted since i think the previous time i said it was ignored.

My suggestion to you is to make the game you want to play. EA is a big company with lots of interests. And if you've ever worked for a large corporation, you would understand this readily.

We've released an official mod that will resolve the unreachable grox worlds issue:

Expanded Travel Radius Mod

This mod increases the travel radius when in the galactic core zone to 10 parsecs (a travel radius of 9.8 parsecs is needed to reach all the stars in the galactic core area). This mod will work with your current saved games.

To use it, save it to your Spore Data folder. You’ll need to have updated to patch three in order to run this mod. If you patch your Spore game after using this mod, this file will be automatically deleted. To get the mod after patching, simply download it again.

This mod is available for both PC and Mac.

Thanks, MaxisCactus!

Let the testing begin.

There's still a limit when using this mod. It's more like a piece of the game that was missing when it was released.
