Yeah, Gorgenmast is in the neighborhood. He just never drops by.

Your call, Lee.

Okay was the hint of what the canopy Velidus was going to do blunt enough? Lacking most bones does have a hilarious number of advantages after all.

Speaking of blunt, I'm not sure I understand why they are so difficult to harm with blunt force. It seems if you hit them near an organ, it is relatively undefended.

They kind of already fired at them.

Lee you do realize that there's about six inches of not organ between the skin and the first layer of redundant organs right? Not to mention no brittle bones to shatter and get into awkward places? Further still the bloody things can predict your bowl movements given enough time to study you? I specialized in two things. Combat and agility. Most technology is literally going to grow out of those, food preparation, and living arrangements.

War I thought you were just preparing to shoot at the next elevation change to get (in dnd terms) a flat-footed attack of opportunity. As this idea is apparently in error please direct my attention to the part of your post where you started shooting. Maybe I misread or you edited it in. Oh I know was the shooting happening before I started using evasive shenanigans?

Warcodered wrote:The hunters with bows were rather annoyed at the sudden use of evasive maneuvers but had learned patience in there many hunts. Linthor now collapsed completely his last moments upon him. He couldn't help but feel rage from the sudden sneak attack and his missing his opponent but he did see something useful he could do with his last moment. Linthor gently tossed the axe landing it by the feet of his comrades effectively giving them a close range weapon should the situation call for it.

A few quiet signals were passed between the Tigrock and one of the archers quickly grabbed the axe using his tail and then passing it off to one of the spear man's rear hands. The four Tigrock effectively turned in a circle one archer and spear watching one of the strange creatures each. The archers were experienced hunters and this wasn't the first time they had to hit a moving target. Aiming just ahead of where they were preparing to fire when they had their next shot. The Tigrock knew if they fired while they were running the Velidus could suddenly change directions but if they fired while they were jumping up or down they'd be helpless in the air. Now aiming for where they were going to be the Tigrock fired again. The spear men knew that they couldn't let their guard down if they allowed an opening the creatures could get in to do some damage.

Well... Interesting. Since that would make it one to four if you scored a center mass brain shot how about I edit in one missing and the other catching a lung and coming out the other side. It's a good hit that doesn't end the fight and gives you info to take back when the last survivor is driven out. Why am I sure that's happening? That loud shout from before wasn't just for show. We have more guests coming to this party.

I kind of figured more of them would be showing up. Now the real question is would the other four be able to lug the body of their friend quick enough since odds are they'd want to give him a proper burial.

Doesn't matter one way or the other really. My end game if fought to the end was kill all but one Tigrock which would be crippled and sent to limp back to the others whether he wanted to be or not. After all if we want you eight-limbed whippersnappers to stay off our lawn we best be sending the message that we aren't to be screwed with. One survivor telling horror stories and having the multiple fractures to prove them would send that message well I think.

Also you agree to the edit right?

Yeah the edit sounds good.

I don't know the Tigrock can really move when they have too besides their is more than a decent chance the Tigrock would enraged at the loss or just feel obligated to regain any lost honor.

Again whether he want to be or not. I'm not afraid to cut off his tail club, break every limb, shatter his teeth, Look in the direction you came from until I find the capital, and drop him at the entrance. Velidus are an incredibly vindictive and somewhat sadistic breed you understand.

I just meat if the whole tribe showed up The other four would probably not stay to see if these new ones were more friendly. Also I doubt traveling all the way up to the wall of the capital carrying the body of a Tigrock you killed would end very well for the messenger plus they have already shown how well they take threats.

Not killed War. It would just be so badly crippled that it couldn't move of its own accord. It can still talk and choke down food that has been ground to paste. Granted with the broken bones he'd probably die within the week but he'd be alive when we got their. As for getting to the wall who said we'd be at ground level? Picture two Velidus carrying the survivor through the treetops and using him as a meat shield if you start shooting arrows. Again we are an evil race of vicious little war criminals.

Also edit done.

They couldn't really get that close to the entrance in the trees seeing as the Tigrock keep the area directly surrounding it clear of trees to preserve the effectiveness of it's walls. Besides to get to the Capital they'd have to pass plenty of Hunting clan villages. To be honest I doubt they'd make it all the way there without someone finding and getting seriously miffed at them.

Scratch that make that drop off at the first hunting village seen. All that matters is finding Tigrock and sending the message.
