So our creature is evolved from a not-so-random meteoroid, yet in space stage, there's no sign of such (except perhaps the *spoiler*, though that's more of a beam..) So, where do they come from?

I'll give you a hint. Look at the meteoroid closely next time you start a new game. See those crystals?

Tiberium.

Actually I see lots of meteors in my games, usually near suns.

Perhaps you're not looking around / zooming in enough.

Cheers.

Yes, but none which is quite as potent as the one which seeded your planet, and apparently all the other home planets. And they're rarely (if ever) T3 even so. I mean, it is implied that the seeding is by your hand, but you never see it happen anywhere else, the closest still being *spoiler*..

Spode the all-knowing is the designer. He sent the Rock of Life, in His mercy to thine world. Kneel in awe before His glory, (or we'll make you do it).

You'll probably notice that rocks break up and crumble over millions of years, which is why the few large meteor contact sites we have on Earth are smaller than their form and often encased in surrounding geography.

I believe there's one in Australia they found, and there was some debate in the 60s-80s as to whether the enzymes and things on/in it were native to Earth or not. (Wish I had the article for you.)

Also you can see in Space Age, sometimes there are little craters with crashed meteor on the inner part. I haven't screencapped these, but ironically I saw one on a T0 planet.

Also note that your meteor in Spore landed in the water, not visible from the spacecraft.

Spore Wiki for your ease of reference. And here's the GameFAQ references.
