Mega Spore Expansion Campaign

This is now a campaign/petition, for a list of supporters, look here! If you want your sign confirmed, please post "I sign"!

I've seen many topics about players wanting to add stuff to Spore, yet Maxis has not been listening!!! Now I want to change that, this campaign is made to try to get Maxis to update ALL of the Stages!!!

• Greater diversity in the Tidal Pool environment

- Allows the Player to create cells that would pollinate their games!

Huge use of ears. Seperate lighting depending on how deep you are, choice of gill type etc. EPIC UNDERWATER CREATURES!

2.Water Environment Features!-by PacoPaco!
The following should be present in the environment of the underwater stage:
• Sea Plants
- Plants like Sea Weed, Sea Lettuce, Turtle Grass, Kelp, and so on
- Provides food for herbivores and omnivores
• Coral
- Provides places to hide and places to nest
• Rocky Cliffs and Caves
- Provides places to hide and places to nest
• Hot Water Vents/Cold Seeps
- Hot water vents need special upgrades to get near
- Both have a lot of life near them
• Trenches
- Deep water areas which can only be access through special upgrades
- Special items can be found at the bottom of trenches, i.e. DNA boosts items, parts from skeletons!

3.Sea Monster!-by Dragovi!
Remember that sea monster in the creature stage that swallows you alive if you swim too far out to sea? What if we could be like it? If a land creature wades to far out to sea, a carnivorous fish could snatch it and drag it down to the ocean floor to devour it.

4.Sea Mammal-like abilities!-by Dragovi!
If by some consequence in the cell stage you are a sea mammal and you partially need air to breathe, you could come to the surface to breathe or even wade out to shore, bask in the sun, and go back into the ocean.

Since Maxis made it unreal, I think we can add eletric and fireball to creature. The fireball would a have a verrrry slow recharge. The eletric would have a long recharge. Each upgrade would get a shorter reload time. Fireball would have more range. I think you should still be able to have 4 slots so you would have to choose.

2.Sea Monster Begone!-by SuperWeb!
I use betterspore, which kills the sea monster. I think after you are ready to advance you should be able to go out to sea. I think the range of where you could go should be increased every brain level. Also, there should be fish that just float the whole time that you can attack-befriend but they cannot get out of the water.

3.Internal Organ Upgrades!-by PacoPaco! Warning, long idea!
I believe there should be internal organ upgrades that affect the creature.
Brain Upgrade <cost 250 DNA>

Tribes can pop up in the Creature Stage, these Tribes are a Danger to you, or if you like danger, you can sneak into Tribes and steal there food, kill there babys and eat them, and kill there Tribe Members and eat them!!!

5.Digging parts!-by Colossusepic01!
Parts that allow your creature to tunnel into the ground and travel through the ground would make it more fun to play the creature stage. Creatures that attack while underground do double damage.

6.Custom Parts Creator!-by Colossusepic01!
This feature would allow a player to take two creature parts even if they are of different types and overlap them, and combine them thoroughly and fully to create a brand new part. Like say combine a limb with a wing, you get a brand new vartiety of wing that you can attach graspers and feet to.

7.Ability to Branch Vertabrae!-by Colossusepic01!
Being able to make a creature with two necks with vertabrae in them would definitely increase the fun factor.

8.Partial Part Enlargement!-by Colossusepic01!
Basically being able to enlarge a single piece of a part instead of the whole thing.

9.Larger Complexity Meter!-by Colossusepic01! I recommend this one!
Four times as much complexity without having to use mods or cheats would greatly increase the beauty of the creations.

10.Test Drive Mode for the Vehicle Editors!-by Colossusepic01!
Being able to test your Vehicle would add to the fun!

11.Sensory Organs!-by PacoPaco-Warning, long idea!
There has been talk about different kinds of sensory organs. But I realized that there wasn't much in the way of addressing the problem that things like eyes and noses have no bearing on gameplay besides costing DNA and increases the complexity meter. So I decided to add my take on what could be possible with them.
• Eyes
- Increases the social abilities dance, pose, and charm
- Increases the combat abilities strike and spit
<- if night time darkness is increased ->
- Some eye types allow better vision at night
<- if diving underwater is added ->
- Some eye types allow better vision underwater
• Ears
- Increase the social ability sing
- Gives a chance to notice other creatures in 'sneak' mode
- Gives a chance to avoid being hit by the combat ability charge
<- if stalking is added ->
- Increases the chance of being alerted to creatures stalking them
• Feelers/Whiskers
- Increase combat abilities strike and bite
- Increase physical abilities, sneak and jump
- Increase the chance to make a successful charge attack
<- if pouncing is added ->
- Increase the likeness of a pounce attack being successful
<- if climbing in added ->
- Increase the physical ability, climb
• Noses
- Increase physical abilities, i.e. sneak, sprint, and fly
-> Note: This is due to better intake of air to the lungs
- Gives a chance to notice other creatures in 'sneak' mode
- Gives a chance to avoid being hit by the combat ability charge
<- if stalking is added ->
- Increases the chance of being alerted to creatures stalking them

The option to choose the location where you migrate and build new nest!

I'm tried of seeing all those big trees and nothing to do with them...i propose we get to climb the trees and build nest in them if above idea is considered!

On nest line, why not burrows or dens? Plus environment should have an effect on your creatures evolution, e.g. slight changes according to ground color etc. More realistic.

you should be able to make the male/female look slightly different (all same parts and postions just different sizes and posture/joint positions) and choose if you want to be a boy or girl, i tired of my man-lookin creature lay an egg!

I'm pissed that when I make a snake thing it moves all extend-and-contract...we should be able to choose to slither side to side or do the inchworm!

17.Epic Cheater!-by Shurimaru!
I once got thrown by an epic to the fish in the ocean... epics should only throw your pack members!

18.Plains!-by Shurimaru!
In real life animals dont cluster around there nests, they travel the plains to collect food and hunt, i think that creatures should only go to there nests to rest and mate, and spend more time wandering around like rogues do!

19.Loner!-by Shurimaru!
The choice to leave your nest permanantly and become a rogue! i dislike my nestmates and just want to wander.

20.Toungue!-by KING_DCT!
Ive noticed when a creature roars, the toungue stays completely still. I purpose that we we should be given, in the editor, different tongues to choose from like the toungue of a: frog, anteater, dog, snake and others. An to make it funny looking you could make the toungue stick out the side of the mouth. Haveing different tongues would let you make even more realistic or bizzare creatures.

Abilites:
-It would let you reach tree fruit, if you arnt tall enough or dont have hands.
-You could grabb an enemy and let your Posse defeat it while you are holding it.
-Taunting them by sticking out you tongue.

21.Increase the Number of Carcasses for Scavenging!-by PacoPaco!
Allow the Player to scavenge for meat by increasing the number of carcasses that appear in the game.

22.Insect Food Sources!-by PacoPaco!
Give an alternative food source for Carnivores and Omnivores by having areas with high levels of insects. These areas would include fallen trees and insect hills. A Player's Creature can go to these locations and find some food for the Creature. This could be handle in a similar way as fruit is handled for Herbivores and Omnivores.

23.Rogue!-by Shurimaru!
The ability to leave your nest and become a rogue, disabling all social functions and no pack members.
advance by killing enough stuff and start a tribe with other rogues, the baby race will be chosen at random each time one is born.

24.DNA!-by Shurimaru!
All the parts should be available at the begining, but instead of higher level parts being better, they all cost the same and are all the same effect. Instead you use DNA points to upgrade the combat/social/physical skills to the level you want while using the part that looks better.
Example: You buy the mouth that you like and use points to upgrade it instead of replacing it with a less cooler but more effective mouth.

25.Theif!-by Shurimaru!
I think that having to run up to a nest and killing an egg is a good way for quick DNA but i always get attacked, when you have graspers you should be able to pick up the egg and run away to eat it in safety.

List D-The Tribe Stage!!!

1.Language creator!(Optional)-by Shurimaru!
Before you enter tribal you have to develop your language...im tired of hearing "Oh Neeta Ja"
...gets annoying!

2.Civs in the Tribe Stage!(Optional)-by Goober09!
If you like a challange, this will make the Tribe Stage more fun, Big Citys are built before your Tribe gets to that Stage, and Vehicles come up to destroy your Tribe, but they can be destroyed!

3.Experiance!-by Shurimaru!
Tribe members who come back alive from battle should gain from the experiance and become stronger.
(once my one of my spearmen was attacked by two rival tribe members, he killed them both and returned to the village only to die when we raided them...i was so proud of him and he died! )

4.Waste of food!-by Shurimaru!
In the creature stage you could eat fellow creatures...
and canibalism isnt relative beacuase the opposing tribes usually different spieces...so why cant i eat rival tribe members? or at least loot them for food!

5.Pet Care!-by Shurimaru!
I once got raided my a rival tribe and, while fighting them, i hurt my pet; the pets health and disposition to the tribe never improved...we should be able to feed our pets to regain their health and loyalty.

List E-New Stage-The Age of Civilization Stage!

You go from a Small Tribe to a huge city in this Long Stage!

Early in the stage you have people on foot with various weapons (spears/bows/swords/spears)(spears) but later on you use domesticated animals to ride and use better weapons(spears/lances/better swords) and the people arew faster and have more health.

Resource Center will let you:
-Choose where to cut/plant forests!
-Where to settle new cities!(Shouldnt hav to steals others)(would have to be within border)

-What to display to your civilians to keep them on your side!(Set target audeience for enertainment building)
-How to go about war/religion!(Automatic manuevers)

2.Crime!-by Shurimaru!
If the city is unhappy or poor...crime should rise and you would have to create a police force!

3.Fire!-by Shurimaru!
I've seen by blowing up cities that when the building light on fire...they use a pump to put it out...and if that "slave revolt" or "Crime" happpen then them setting buildings aflame should be a possibility and you would have to adopt a better fire response system than the pump-gun!

4.Coloinal Campaign!-by SRIspaceshipMaker!
This would allow you to have more parts in the buliding and vehicle creators and would allow you to have a fleet of 50 vehicles insted of 32.

5.More Vehicle Parts!-by SRIspaceshipMaker!

6.Piloting Vehicles!-by sparrior09!
The player has the ability to pilot his own vehicles around the globe. Attacks and socialization are carried out like they would normally in the creature and tribal stage. Ex: be able to fly aircraft like you can in Flight Simulator, only not as complex (or complex it doesn't matter).

7.Increased Timeline!-by GenMankiller!
Starts your city at medieval age and work your way to space age. The knowledge of your world expands as you advance through age.

8.Fluid Religion!-by GenMankiller!
Multiple religions and they can spread to cities. You may be a zealot and try to convert all to your religion through diplomacy or war. Also included in Space age.

9.Alien Invasion!-by GenMankiller!
During the civ stage, Aliens invade your planet and try to conquer it.

10.Global Urbanisation!-by MrAlex92
As you capture cities, your existing cities expand their borders and urbanise the surrounding areas, much like earth has gradually done, eventually nearby cities merge together and by the space stage, over half the planet is cities with procedurally generated roads linking town halls. This would give a better feeling of being a superpower when you have a large percentage of the planets cities.

Also perhaps a civilian vehicle editor could be included to add life to the roads.

This would be a good idea as it is very similar to the history of earth and would add some great scenery to civilised planets.

What is the use of having an army if there is no soldiers so i prepose having soldiers of your creatures in civ stage that would be fun!

You can go into a Blackhole but not Gas Planets, I don't get that.

Space Station would make it so you can have something in orbit of your planet
instead of a moon, it would also have a Space Station Editer!!!

3.Slave Trade!-by The7thMuffinMan!
Some civilizations would certainly enjoy having people do forced labor for them. So how about when a creature is abducted that is sentient, you can sell it. Now, some creatures sell for more than others due to being more advanced and possibly from enemy empires. Makes it more worthwhile to kidnap people. You can also sell excess Flora and Fauna, though they go for even less. None of them sell for a lot.

4.Product Trade!-by The7thMuffinMan!
This one requires an editor. Here's what happens, you pay sporebucks to design a product, and more to edit it. There are a bunch of things to start with and you can go from their. By enhancing it you make it more an item for the rich, but it will cost you more to make. Your planets make them in certain quantities, and you bring them around and sell them. Fun, eh?

5.Space Addtion Creation!-by SRIspaceshipMaker!
This would have more space parts in the space creator section.
Part ex:

>Power Thruster
>Fluxcapcitor
>Hanger Door
>Light Jet
>Purple Thrust

6.Echolocation!-by Shurimaru!
I think that Echolocation would be a great thing for this givng you a sort of "night vision" when you have no eyes but you have ears!
basically it would be like this: you use the Echolocate ability, you get full vision of your surrounding regardless of available light, after a bit the vision would slowly start to blur back into blindness, then use ecolocate to restore vision
(PS:Could last about 2-3 minutes before blur)
(PSS: also, could allow sort of way to see creatures hiding/sleeping in bushes by giving creatures a sort of "glowing" appearance when hidden or stealthed/subterrainean)

7.Set T-Score!-by Shurimaru!
The ability to set the T-Score of the planet you want to start on before you begin game, you know like making it rlly cold or rlly hot, and it would give Anti-terraforming a purpose...like making a planet hot enough for your speices to colonize or have terra-wars with another spieces to terraform a planet that they want
Ex: your Arctic spieces is making a fiery planet icy...angering the other spices of hot heads that also want the planet...
gives ability to terraform a planet and force its inhabitants to leave

8.Space Clash!-by SRIspaceshipMaker!
This would add more weapons to your game.
New weapons:
>Plasma Missle (3 different types, Mini, Reg, Mega)
>Plasma Bomb (3 different types, Mini, Reg, Mega)
>Crystal Shatter - Fire at a colony to destoy it
>Star Buster - Fire at a star to destroy the system and turn it into a wormhole
>Photon Sheer - a weapon used to split enemy vehicles in half
>Fusion Flare - used to set colonies bulidings on fire
>Particle Beam - a larger beam than the laser
>Plasma Pulse - (3 different types, Mini, Reg, Mega)

In the space stage you should be able to put a colony be the sea and it would have a sea port.

In spore you should be able to trade your planets for a certian amount of sporebucks. This will be helpful if your colonies are not producing enough spice.

There should be more military aproach to the Space stage...i shouldnt have to use raider rally or spend money on mercinaries to get some back-up...in civ i had a tone of vehicles to kill things why when i die they have a brand new ship to replace me? why not give it to another guy to come help me die less!

The Planets in Spore are very tiny, I think there should be HUGE planets, big enough to land SpaceShips on, so you can mount an attack!!!

14.Houses Allowing For Colony Defense Vehicles!-by PacoPaco!
Right now the houses are pretty much used for getting additional spice production. And in the Civilization Stage they added to the max number of vehicles one could have. So basically, why not return that back in the form of colony defense vehicles. Each house would equal one colony defense vehicle. Since Houses are the most expensive building to add it seems that this would be a balance way of providing defenses for a colony.

2.The Great Galactic Empire Maga Star System!-by Goober09!
This System is unlike any other, it keeps Growing, in this System, you can sign up to make your own planet in the System and it will be added to the system, you will get 1 Colony-Incredi-pak to Colonize your new planet, then you can put up to 500 different creatures on your planet, your creatures or somebody else's, and then other people can go to your planet and, if they have GA, they can go down to your planet and check it out, up to 100 people can look at your planet at once, Nobody can use Weapons in this System, includes Text Chat!-run by Goober09!

People have to run these things, there run by the people who made it or someone else!

I have a few suggestions for how to organize the suggestions that are most likely going to be given.

I highly suggest separating them into these categories:
The Cell Stage
The Creature Stage
The Tribe Stage
The Civ Stage
The Space Stage
Multiple Stage Suggestion <i.e. Asymmetry for All the Editors>

I also suggest that you keep each suggested numbered in the order in which it was added, possible with the date next to them. It would be a means to keep track of the growing list.

Next, as for my suggestions in regards to the game. I have the following threads which I have made suggestions:

they should have a build fleet button which you can make one command ship and those tiny ships would cost about 10 000$!

Add some more development.First your living in dirt and huts,then suddenly there's huge buildings and cities?Really?Add something like a medieval stage in between,where there are kingdoms and primitive weapons.Mabye controlling armies or something?

GREAT IDEA!

I have a suggestion:

If Spore is gonig to stay unreal, we might as well add new abilites like firebreath and spark. I'll make something on that now.

NEW PART IDEAS FOR ALL STAGES
Firebreath- I would make for a close-range spit.
Eletric- Parazle the enemy.
