Would you like a game similar to Spore but with realistic graphics?

No, Spore is the way I like it. For me, there's no need for more sophisticated realism in a similar game. 22% [ 228 ]

- Evolutions! - Similar to Spore! -



Screen Shot: the open-source and freeware project of a Berlin university in Germany (IT Faculty): similar to the game Spore, but with totally realistic body parts, many more options (and parts!), and an amazing gameplay.

This is a project of the IT faculty, but also open-source. So far as I know, there are already more than 130 students working on that, and more than 200 outsiders!

Similar to the children game Spore, their game also contains many editors. But their game targets an age group with the range from 15 to open end, not 10 years old children like "our" Spore. That's why graphics are very different and even the game play is very exciting!

And the best of all: once finished, that game will be released worldwide FREE OF COSTS!!! Yippie-ya-yeah!!!

This shows, how much Spore influences the world of games. I am amazed.

Also, I am going to post here later the creatures I was making with their beta version, they look way different than Spore creatures!

I will post many screen shots, promised. Just give me time to create these realistic critters!

The download is for developers only (students and registered non-student developers, a friend of mine is participating this project for IT students). It is not yet released to the public.

I am going to post in some hours a series of critters! Here, right in this thread!
