As long as it fits in the niche of the ecosystem and follows the limitation, the rest is up to you.

Xoblth, eh?

Ah, a detritovore. More things I'm really bad at making. Yet again, I said that about my Darter, and it was one of my best.

*tips hat* I salute you, my opponent! May the best creator win!

The Maharona
Scavenger

In the spring, Arctic ice becomes highly treacherous as it begins to melt. Even the most careful of creatures could easily slip off the edge or break thin ice under their weight. Death can come in seconds, by shock, drowning or hypothermia. Whatever is left of the creature becomes a meal for the four-foot-long Maharona.

The Maharona is guided to its prey by the pair of sensory tentacles on its nose, capable of finding the trail of a land animal from miles away. Its nose is also sensitive enough to detect vibrations made by its food source. The Maharona is slow and not well-equipped for killing, but its muscular body and tearing beak are excellent for ripping away flesh from a corpse. Soft-bodied swimming animals also may become food for a hungry Maharona.

The skin and organs of a Maharona are translucent, rendering it difficult to see in seawater. Its body is literally ice cold, protected from freezing by unique chemicals in its blood. All along its skin are small scutes that provide a small measure of defense from predators.

When you say three different cell parts, do you mean: three cell parts, each a different one; or can you just use the same kind of cell part three times?

Each of the three cell parts needs to be a different cell part. You can use more than one of each, but there needs to be at least three different types of cell parts.

We've already got a couple of great entries! Thanks, dinolizard12753 and Triop5.

I'm looking forward to some more excellent creations. Get 'em in.

Here's mine:

Niche: Nomadic Hunter

Species: Dembri

Picture:

Body Length: 2 feet
Leg Span: 3 feet (radius[fully extended])

Description: Normally arthropods can't live in cold areas such as the tundra, but the Dembri found a way to live in such an area. Their exoskeleton is insulated with a layer soft spongy tissue and very hard armor, preventing heat from escaping through it's body. Respiration is the main cause of thermal energy loss, so the Dembri walks very slowly, using minimal energy, thus allowing it to not breath in so much cold air.

They the tundra in search of food, living food. When they spot prey they will either attempt to sneak up on it and ambush it, or charge at it with a six legged gallop. In an ambush they will try to stay behind the animal and get close enough to lunge onto its back. If they are caught in their attempt to ambush, they will charge at their prey. If they take down a very large animal, they will turn it into a temporary home and sleep in the warmth of their fresh kill.

When in danger, the large respiration pores on their back will cough up a thick cloud of gas that smells horrible and irritates the eyes. When being chased, their abdomen will spit out a sticky goop at their chaser in an attempt to blind it. These tactics don't always work though. If they think they can take on the predator, they will turn at them and fight back using their sharp horns and legs.

They are lone hunters and only interact with each other during their mating season. They are also natural born climbers.

This picture is for a better look at it. However, you can see I made some changes to it.
