What you do is get spit, then spit at one. If your speed is low, use sprint. Lure it to your nest, then your nestmates will fight with you. It's health will slowly go down, and soon, BANG! it'sdeadand if you're a carnivore, CHOW TIME! And achievement.

You know those HUGE rock/crystral formations scattered around? Epics can't attack you if you hide in one and have your group blast away with Spit 5. You can take an epic down in around 10 minutes with this method. But one wrong step and you're dead.

If you can't kill an epic, why did the spore people make the achevment"Epic Killer"?

I've killed an epic in the tribe, civ and space stages, but creature? I didn't even think you could do damage to them in creature stage.

I killed it by luring to my nest.

I didn't know that. Where did you get that information.

I've killed 2 or 3 epics...quite easily...as said before, use spit and fight at your nest. If you die you spawn at your nest and it is still there, still hurt, so you can really use. It also has about a 20% of glitching and not being able to get into your nest, so it'll sit outside and smile as you bit and strike it to death from the edge of your nest.

I found two, and used spit to lure each other into a fight. It was quite fast.

There are posts and guides suggesting to befriend rogues.
That's uselsss, epics kill them in no time.

Spit-tactics are the way to go.
Either you spit all the time (they don't regenerate health if they don't eat) and kill them in quite some time, or lure one epic into another.
If you are lucky and both epics are carnivore, a fight is much more probable.

I've actually heard from somewhere that if you managed to lure 2 epics together, they'd lower each other's health so much that once one wins you could kill it easily (epic fightnight, anyone? ). I'm not sure if it works cuz I've never had the balls to try it, but I think it's worth a shot!

edit: d'oh, i didn't pay attention to the other posts... guess it does work xD

How I did it was the epic just got stuck on a rock and couldn't fight, so I just spat at it until it died.

I killed one and got the achivement. what I did was luer it to my nest and let my pack kill most of its health them I just jumped in but Im pritty sure that It was gliched and stuck because the epic didn't do any damage.

I remember killing 5 epics I'm telling the truth just ask the epics that were stupid enough to follow me to my nest.

I tried that one hit takes away half their health!

Quite an easy achievement, actually. Make sure you have three healthy rogues in your clan. Attack the epic by using spit and the rogues will start attacking the epic. They'll get him to around 200 hitpoints, and from there on, spit, step back, spit, take another step back etc. Sure, it might take some minutes, but it does get you an awesome achievement!

unfortunately for me my partners died and I tried luring it to my nest but that dint help either because the only one there was someone who tried to mate with me .But I still killed the EPIC

I killed two epics in creature stage the key is to make a pack of three rogues (all having spit level five and flying level five) chose an epic without poison and with get close to the epic and spit poison and fly close to it but out of its reach. If you keep flying away from it you will be ok you will die four or five times.
