Well, this may be a little hard to explain. Almost every creature on the Sporepedia is easily identifiable into a certain Taxon category. Let me give you some examples:

Xeron here looks like an insect-'bug like',

while the Novaraptor is an avian-'bird like'.

What I want you to do is create something which simply looks like nothing on Earth. When you look at it, the thought 'It looks kinda reptilian' or 'it looks kinda mammalian' should not pop into your head. Oh, and if you people want some motivation, lets say a prize, then I will give you people a prize. By the end of every other week, whoever has created the coolest taxon will get a reward. I will subscribe to one Sporecast of your choice, getting you closer to the Rising Star acheivment.

The Rules:
-If I say it looks like a cetain taxonomy, it might not get accepted. But, if others back you up, saying that it is unique.
-You can create a taxon that someone else has already done. If you can't think of anything, this might be something you want to do.
-Please include the name of your taxon. Going to www.wiktionary.com and searching words which describe your taxon, then looking at translated versions of these words oftentimes makes a good name.
-For more information on taxonomy, visit www.spore.wikia.com .

An example of a unique taxon:

Umanue, part of the breinaste taxon. Features of this taxon include four legs with eight feet and drooping mouths.

TAXON LIST:
Classic Taxon:
Avian-'bird like'. Avians typically have beaks, feathers, talons, wings, and a large variety of colours.
Mammal-'monkey/human like'. Mammals typically have fur, two feet, two hands, and dark brown and black colours.
Reptile-'lizard like'. Reptiles typically have scales, webbed feet, straight pupils, and green colours.
Amorphus-'blob like'. Amourphus usually have no skeletons, drooping like jelly and sloshing around.
Amphibian-'fish like'. Amphibians typically have fins. 'Nuff said.
Insect-'bug like'. Insects typically have six legs, antenna, beady eyes, and wings.
Arachnid-'spider like'. Arachnids typically have pincers, eight legs, and multiple/unnoticable eyes, and their knees a bit higher over their head then others.

New Taxon:
Breinaste-Includes the Umanue. They have four legs which branch out in different directions, and drooping mouths hanging on trunks.

Geoderma-Includes the Earthshark. They have four legs with claws on their feet, a single stalk eye, and tough scales which extend past their body. Made by crazy199292.

Kreuzenmund-Includes Dinsaquinij. They have multiple mouths crossing through eachother, with multiple arms that face backwards, and large tails. Made by Homsarfan.

Festmahlfaust-Includes Spachlyn. Typically have mouths on their limbs. Made by Homsarfan.

Slurphadae-Either quadrupeds or bipeds with a single eye and a series of appendages around their mouths to aid in the feeding process. Made by Grimbot.

Geoderma is a fine name, much better then 'Breinaste'. Added.

Homsar, that might be a little to amourphus for me...

Maybe if you made a different creature with those features? (suction cups, long wriggling arms, long neck, jawless...). Then I'll except it.

Well done. But I need a name for the taxon. I made my name by going to www.wiktionary.com and searching words that described it, then translating to a different language. Brein means 'branching' in germain while the second part means legs. Branching legs.
