Sorry I wasn't on yesterday, I didn't have access to a computer. Unexpected stuff. BUT NOT TONIGHT!

Here's my sheet. A lot of info is on the wiki page. I'm figuring that they don't really own all of the star systems listed on it yet though.

Name: The Ethereal Sphere

Species: Celestilorenarath

The Celestilorenarath are a relatively young race being about as old as humans. They developed and evolved much like we did only with some other changes. See while humans can only use about 10% of their brains, this race can use 25% and it makes a big difference. This extra 15% allows them to become incorporeal. Becoming incorporeal takes a lot of energy and inhibits them in some ways. For example they cannot interact with anything solid. If they tried to pick something up it would simply pass through their hand. Being incorporeal can be helpful though. When in this state, Celestilorenarath can't be harmed by kinetic weapons but energy weapons still work. It also allows them to pass through walls or any solid/gas matter. They can't pass through liquid though until they become solid again. Lastly, they can't use any other powers in this form.

The extra brain power also allows them to learn faster than humans. Hence why they have become so advanced over a short time. Being able to share information telepathically also has allowed the whole race to connect and learn from their brightest scientists. This telepathic ability has also been a key to their religion for many claim to have heard the spirits speak in their mind. Over time the race learned minor telekinesis, but it can only be used on small, light objects.

The planet of Celest is small so the race has remained in the millions as far as population goes. Celest has a bit denser air than Earth so storms are more common. The vegetation is mainly yellow and blue colored and tends to be more vine-like. Soil is almost always a tan to peach color and, the water remains blue. The Celestilorenarath's technology is based mostly on energy shields. So much infact that homes and buildings are built using shield-domes. There are solid metal constructions however on the planet and all vehicles are made of metal. The most weapons of this race tend to use particles and rays with some kinetic here and there.

A council of 12 runs the whole empire. Six can be found in their fleet while the other six remain on the homeworld. If change is wanted then the idea must gain support from a least a third of the population before the council takes it into consideration.

As far as religion goes the Celestilorenarath believe in great ancestor spirits that watch over them (much like Native Americans). They are not Zealots however.
