I just beat an Epic creature in the Creature stage. I had spit level 5 and I ran backwards until I got into some woods. The creature got hung up and I kept shooting and eating until it died. It took a while as it only went down 4 HP at a time. Good Luck!!

Dude, it's easy, I killed one on my second generation of creature once. I've killed over a dozen epics across a few games.

I killed i with my 3 headed bronchyro creation, I just shot at it while my allies ran up and smacked it. Before then I lead it to my nest, the only reason I actually suceeded was because it got stuck in a tree and I killed it before I starved, there's like 30 bites on that thing. Anyway without those trees I would have been dead.

It's defiantly possible. I killed one solo but it was quite a waste of time.

Way to easy to get it. The epic was just standing there roaring at my nest while we attacked it.

Like people have said before, spit on it run under some trees(with fruit so you dont starve) and just keep spiting

It's not impossible. The best way is to hit it so rapidly that it roars by default (when you hit it) and never has a chance to attack. The best way to do this is to actually lure an epic into your nest (hopefully it's well populated). Your nest mates will naturally defend themselves and 4-5 adults can kill an epic if you help them.

You can also try trapping the epic in the trees and attacking it with spit.

The reward is worth it!

Yeah they always seem to do that if you bring it to your nest, I'm not sure if it's intentional or not... The only problem there is if you or one of your "crew" aren't the one to land the killing blow you don't get the achievement.

I killed an epic. I was on hard, too, but there was no achievement for hard epic. I was working on the 'beat these stages on hard' achievements. I spit at the Epic and lured it back to my next. He got stuck on one of my creatures and they attacked it and it never once hit them. It took at least ten minutes but it eventually dropped dead.

Iv gotten it easy, took like an hour or so. i got 3 rogue allies and then i attacked it and bounced back. then i flew over it numerous times while my rogues attacked, i did this until my rogues were dead and the epic had like 600 health, then i just jumped and spit and got him stuck on trees and such until he died. Then.. i got 100 dna and ate him

I also got the achievement. I started a game specifically for that achievement. I spit at it, and lured it back to the nest. All my species attacked the epic, and he could not move. I charged and killed it when it had around 50 health. It took me a while, but it was easy once I tried. Don't try it alone! Lure it to your nest!

I had a glitch that meant it couldn't do me any damage when I was in my nest, it never happened again though.

I did it I just got it stuck between some stuff and slowly killed it...

The easiest way is to use the "Play as an epic!" Mod by nineballfool.. Or you could use those time-wasting glitches. :]
