After installation of spore I go to my desktop to find there are no shortcuts, so I am thinking well I must have missed the option to put one there. Well I go to the Start Menu > All Programs ...... nothing there either I looked under EA Games folder and Electronic Arts folder I have from previous games ..... nothing there either. I can find the folder which it installed to (C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\SPORE) under the sporebin folder I see the Sporeapp exe. It will not launch because of what I am guessing to be some "DVD security" set in place. So I can launch the game by taking my disk out and then putting it back into my computer and going from the autolaunch but for the shortcut to work I am assuming it needs to have some sort of command line entry after the shortcut to exe. Could someone please tell me a what it is so I can make myself a shortcut or tell me if there is a patch available that address' this issue and others that I am reading about on the forums?

Thanks

Vista has a new feature that I never use either. You can find it from the start button...

Start / Programs / Games / Games Explorer.

It'll open a popup window that looks sort of like file explorer. In it, though, should be icons for all of the games that you've installed on your computer.
