Whilst working eagerly to fix the bugs, mainly where achievmetns and scores aren't being updated on the spore website?

I noticed the changes in the layout of the MySpore page last night. The page looks great without the borders around all of the sporepedia pages. That's super, much cleaner and tighter.

I did see one negative effect.

The tabs are missing from above the main table views in Firefox.

Those are the tabs to switch between the Core and GA information.

The headers and tabs DO show up in IE 8 with compatibility view on.

I'm not sure about IE 7, since I have not started that machine yet today.

The .pngs seem a bit smaller, as well, but that may be the effect of the borders being removed, and I just notice it without them.

Just out of curiosity, what do all you guys think today's'll be? I'm guessing a contest, but I can't be so sure.

Still better than interviews. I like this challenge, actually - just wish it was less awkward to get a team.

The SporeDay's not the challenge. It's the MP3.

In my opinion,this is becoming more believable every week.

Perhaps we should make what we want from Sporeday to be more well-known? Maxis has been adding things to the game which have been asked for by the community, it's not unthinkable that they might cater Sporeday to the community's wishes every now and then if we make our collective wishes heard in the proper fashion. I think i'll make a topic about it. Don't expect it to affect tomorrow's Sporeday of course, but maybe we can twist things towards our desire, so that everyone is happy.

This morning some table elements are again missing in Firefox.

On the main page there are no GA vs regular tabs, no frames around the images.

In The up and down rate "thumbe" only appear sporadically, and the large PNG images for my own creations are often not visible.

I see that iiiHuman has a thread about the creations not showing up down in help, and it includes a lot of detail.

I have head out, or I would provide more information. This happened on Oct. 1st. as well, so I'm guessing you know the root cause.

I'm no longer running an IE 7 machine due to other software constraints. So someone else needs to test that.

According to my poll they're fairly unpopular, but I really need more votes to get a better picture. I don't like them because they just tell us what we already know, take three weeks and sometimes multiple sporedays, and pretty much cop out of telling you anything fresh.

Hasn't it been like three or four weeks since Hero was released? I think anyone who bought it knows how to play it by now, and anyone who didn't buy it probably isn't going to.
