Alright, I finally got everything for my race figured out, all the info is below. But could someone put my race on the map for me please? I have no image editing program on my computer. I would like their location to be somwhere on the middle left to upper left side of the map. Thanks in advance!
Name of Race: Mozorian (Mozorians is plural)
Color of the Race: Light blue, like this color
Description/picture:
Biology: Having been aquatic creatures for millions of years before evolving to live on the land within the last 200,000 years, it is little surprise that the Mozorians are still closely tied to water. Fins still adorn their bodies and they still possess the necessary organs for underwater breathing. These features make them very fast and agile swimmers, which can greatly aid them in many things such as escaping danger or finding resources. However, these aquatic features can hinder the Mozorians as much as they help them. On land they are slower than most creatures and are occasionally clumsy. They also must always be near a source of water to keep their skin moist, for if their skin dries out they will die. Their skin can stay moist for roughly 2-3 days.
Culture: The Mozorians worship a deity they call Marinus and most aspects of their culture are centered around it. They believe that Marinus dwells within all water, especially the ocean. They also believe all things in the sea, from fish to seaweed to the rocks on the bottom, are holy and contain some of the spirit of Marinus in them. The Mozorians consider themselves Marinus's chosen people to contain more of Marinus's spirt than anything else in the water and to be Marinus's disciples. This belief forms the center of many of their customs, rituals, and daily activities. They bathe themselves in water daily as a sacred ritual of renewing Marinus's spirit within them. Fish, seaweed, and any other living thing that lives in the water is considered a kindred spirt, and thus they are never consumed. Instead they consume animals and fruits of the land. When Mozorians die, it is of upmost importance to them that the deceased Mozorian is buried underwater so that the part of Marinus's spirt in the Mozorian can rejoin the whole of Marinus in the water to eventually be born again. The nutrients of the dead body and the stone of the tomb sometimes forms the beginning of a coral reef, and when this does happen it signifies to the Mozorians that the person buried there had found favor with Marinus and now shall dwell with the whole of Marinus forever.
Starting location: The Mozorians live in between two major features that keep them fairly isolated. To the west is an inlet of the ocean formed by steep cliffs and rocks which keep the waters of the inlet calm. To the east are giant, rocky hills, some could be considered mountains, and the valleys in between them are filled with trees, making up a vast forest. The Mozorians dwell between the inlet and the mountain forest in a strip of grassy land.
Form of government: The Mozorians have a single leader, known as The Elder, who does not really have much power, but rather helps guide the rest of the Mozorians and helps to make important decisions. The Mozorians choose a new Elder whenever the current Elder dies. To do so, they select the wisest among them, and then the chosen Mozorians must step waist deep into the ocean. Then in a phenomenon not yet understood, all the nearby fish and other sea creatures will swim around only one of the chosen Mozorian's legs. This is seen as a sign of Marinus choosing who the next Elder is to be. This Mozorian will then assume the position of The Elder until their death.

No MS paint?
We're probably going to be IC enemies. Because we eat the fish and have a conflicting religion.
I'm liking that sheet though.

Our Father, which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.

I have 1 that's almost just like it, but better.
Paint.NET.
Google that. It's free, can be used for any purpose (Commercial, personal, et cetera) and is epic.

Ok, but I think I'll download it tomorrow. I have a sports meet tomorrow and I need some sleep. I also think I'll make my first IC post tomorrow as well.

Sure. Don't worry, most of us have Veoline or someone else do it anyways.

Name of Race: Vurmi Aldus
Color of the Race(for the map): Dark grey
Description/picture: The Vurmi are an interesting race. Due to mild sexual dimorphism the females are only about 3-4.5 ft. tall, while males stand 5.5-7 ft. tall. The males are humanoid with lizard-like snouts and heads, they possess frills around their neck and a fan running down their spine(think dimetrodon). The Vurmi lack tails, though it is believed once their ancestors did. They have long curved claws to dig deep into bark, as well as membranes between their fingers to aide them in both climbing the trees and swimming the rivers. Their feet have pads(like a cats) that helps when stepping through thorny bushes and sharp rocks.
Biology: The Vurmi Aldus have truly one great defense against the wild, they reproduce like mad and have a relatively long lifespan (70 years old is our eighty years old). Their reproductive cycle was actually the basis for their society and effectively ruled the lives of wild Vurmi. They have large enough brains though that is not their strength.
Culture: The Vurmi's culture revolves around one thing only, the basic tenets of all their cultures, reproduction. They measure seasons through the birthing, raising, mating, and gestation cycle. Mates are lifetime partners, though one can have more than one. Courting happens often and a woman will typically be pregnant for about four months before birthing a litter of new Vurmi. A litter typically is made up of about six children. Lineage is everything their society, family is your life. A clan is usually made up of a dozen or so extended families (believe me when I say extended). Clans as of yet been wandering nomads in the jungle and are just now settling.
Starting location (Here you describe the land around them. Then, you will edit the map to show where they live, and a few pixels around.): The clan of Vurmi beginning to settle down in villages is located south of the Ijinn-Sat and their volcano rimmed valley in a region dominated by a group of hills and a mountain range that stretches to the southwest into unknown lands. In the east a great jungle spreads and expands to beyond the edge of their world. To the north and west are fertile plains stretching to the extinct volcanoes to the north.
Form of government: A sort of Plutarch. Only citizens of the capital can vote, and various tribal laws and current circumstances keep the poor and those without offspring. The few leaders of the community establish themselves through prowess and fertility before installing themselves in the government, simple as that. They can do it through invitation or simply by showing up and not getting kicked out. The Plutarchs (as they are called) then decide on things for the whole community. Not a very formalized form of government you can see, but that will change in the future.

...
Is it a coincidence that you have a plutocracy since my revolutionary builder introduced it?

Dragon131 and Prospo, you are accepted. You both have a very detailed sheet and complex societies. That's good.
And I'll finally have company!
I'll edit the map right away.
Edit: Okay, I updated the map. The Vurmi Aldus live just south of the valley, and the Mozorians live to the north of it, although not just next, but a few thousand km away.

Arnie, please do not quote blocks of text.
I'll run it through a translator.

Okay, so based on the poll, a month should last one page.
Does everyone agree?
