There's not an adequate face available for what I just read on page 10. Let's stop the "worship X moderator" business; it's really sad and it doesn't get you points except on the "that guy is creepy" scale. And if you've got alts, there's no need to tell everyone you have them unless you want to send me, Slyth or DOGC a PM about how you spammed everywhere on another account so we can ban you and stop wasting our time. But, things are not looking too good, at least if I understood you right BB. I'm not trying to sound like a Jacka** or anything, because I, too, have participated slightly. How much of this thread has had to do with the OP so far?

Discussions of democracy on a forum? Even at the slightest, changes in composition? What were we thinking? I see clearly now...while it's 2:00 AM, I'm delirious from sleep deprovation and struggling to spell and refrain all wierdness. I see that perhaps the Sporum has it's downfault because of it's community, some here may be trustworthy, others may be scumbags. But hey, that's what makes the Sporum what it is, right? Not entirely, the world and it's arrogant, insolent, and idiotic people had formed the shape of the Sporum. People argue, so what? People post off-topic, well that's a forum! People intrude again and again, just to worthlessly spam, troll, and hate, all just to make themselves feel better about themselves. But guess what?

Not only are they more likely children then teens, spammers spam up their own computer too, how could they not? Trolls are those freaks that even though they're the age they are, they act less than it. An haters...well...haters gonna hate, what more can they do?

But what are we supposed to do, you wonder? Blame the mods? What've they done? Protect us from those mentioned above? Sure, they may go too far, but isn't that how everything goes? It's not our mods' fault for anything, they're just doing their jobs. It's actually our fault for providing the problem in the first place, and I bet you never thought of that, did you? Yeah, you better believe it, do what the mods say for their sake, not your own. Ignore spam/troll threads, forget their posts even exist, because ignorance is your new best friend.

The only real active 'troll' here is Didzo, (and Slime tries to occasionally too) so its not like we're swimming in trolls either... Unless you go by BB's definition where people who post in spam threads are trolls all of a sudden...

OT: Buddy you mentioned the point about how we aren't necessarily on-topic now, but I think you take that too literally. On-topic shouldn't necessarily refer to the specific OP but rather the discussion that is validly linked to the main topic. The point I'm trying to make is that the topic itself flows, but there is still a difference between what is on-topic and not, and that should only be slightly influenced by the OP and moreso influenced by the current non-trolly conversation. Although this doesn't really hold true for most "forum game" threads.

Also, stop comparing suspensions to crimes. People get suspended for posting on a troll thread. Seriously? You act like it's a big deal, but it only is if you play into the troll's hands, i.e by saying "inb4 lock" or "don't feed the troll!?!@!". Being suspended for counter trolling in an inoffensive manner is hardly akin to a murder.

I think he was using assassinated not to point out how big of a deal the situation was but to show how sudden it was, and how shocking even.

It's rather hypocritical, though. Earlier Taupo was saying that BB want too far comparing bans to murder, and yet here he is comparing permabans to assassinations.
