I spent two weeks for name And still I couldnt find a unused name

Use the randomizer then change the letters one at a time until you find a name that suits your critter.
That's how I get names.

I wouldn't dis the power.

First of all, it got me a Pink Spice planet that, after dropping a spice storage device on there...

...can get me 90 PINK SPICE in one go. o_o

And Spice Production is so fast on that planet...

Basically, there were more cities on there than I could possibly add in the Space stage. And they were already extremely profitable.

The three following wars were COMPLETELY WORTH IT.

Sometimes I think it would be cool if dragons were real. Then I think: they're giant fire breathing lizards that can fly with skin like armor. And they're carnivores. We're perfectly fine without them.

Yet if you use one of your "earned godlike abilities" to essentially do the same thing, its against the rules. That really doesn't even make sense IMHO.

'Plucking them off one by one' gives the enemy a fair chance though. They get to mount a defense, or evacuate to a safer place, or try to end the war peacefully.

Good point . . . well taken

Eight days?

lawl

I went from Cell to Space on hard difficulty in twelve hours. You can kinda see the progression too. I had to go to sleep two hours into the Space stage cuz fourteen hours of playing ANY game isn't healthy.

Notice how religion is breaking the galactic rules. I find it hilarious.

Religion people on civ are taking over with religion, why the SPORE can't they do the same in space stage? That's silly.

For those of you who complain about spore and thinks about new things, concepts, and adjustments:

You all have great ideas for new things and changes. But all of them would just make my currect super great game guide even crappier than it is currectly. Really.

"Breaking galactic code," quite simply, is doing something that the AI isn't scripted to do to you, because it would be "unfair." Both the zealot's and scientist's special abilities break galactic code, as does using the planet buster, but on the flipside, you never have to worry about the AIs pulling that sort of crap against you.

Rather than "zomg u broke galactic code, this means WAR," I think a better approach would be to "take the training wheels off," as it were. So the moment you break galactic code, you remove the safeguards that are keeping the AIs from using their own special abilities and planet busters against you.

That'd be much more interesting.

EDIT: While we're on the subject of archetypes and their abilities, if Maxis has plans to add more archetypes, they should add a "Progressor" archetype that concentrates on uplifting other species. Special ability there could, perhaps, be a "targeted" Monolith wherein you get to select the specific species you want to uplift, and/or determine their archetype.

I know that. I'm asking about the desing decision, not about the reason.

Lol if the consiqins thing didn't exist(excuse my bad spelling) the game would be too easy. Also, if the abiltys were super awsome like I dunno scentest: newtron pumper, make a star go supernova in a matter of seconds! or Ecoalogest: Heals all items piloted by organic live to full (inculds you) and destroy all things NOT piolted by organic life on planet (grox and such), well that would make the game way too easy.

@ copperwolf, Our view of your intelligence is inversely proportional to the number of smilies you use in your post. Cool it on the excessive emoticons.

Back on topic, using the zealot superpower is about as atrocious (from the game's point of view) as a Christian nation going into India and forcing them to accept christianity.

the reasoning behind the galactic code is simple
it is even based on our own laws
it is about the chance to fight back
in a war would it be fair to use a system of strategically placed H bombs to not only blow them up but actually sink half of their continent into the earths core... no?, then why should it be ok to instantly destroy everything on a planet?

is it fine to go to your neighbors house and hypnotise them into giving you their house? no? why should you be allowed to use fanatical frenzy?

is it fine to say"im gonna blow you guys up now, see yah hehehehehehe " and then do it? no. planet buster.
see?
it is fine to shoot everyone and kill them all as it is a formal declaration of war and allows them to fight back.(even if they are just guys with pointy sticks)

The AI's already cheat. They attack you with about 10-20 ships! And All I have is my ship, a couple other weird looking saucers, and some other thing that I don't know what it is in my fleet!

They break my galactic code, so I break their code with a couple of Planet Busters

you don't want to know my galactic code
