Yes, i tried that too and got nothing. Seeing how i've never seen this so called picture leads me to belive 2 things
1. the picture may not be real

2.picture may be faked

A new vid came out on youtube which shows a guy named werewolf finding planet spode(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jf3Sw6-I-9A); i went to the same exact location and the system that he said had planet spode was utterly devoid of even plant life. However, there was some interesting planet formations...
I am going to check out the coordiantes that people keep posting on the spore wiki and on these forums, maybe we will find it. If i do ill will take a pic. I will also post any new updates. Wish me luck!

Spore Wikia, like Wikipedia, can be editted by anyone. It's this problem that makes me thankful my pages are protected by the admins

And searching the entire galaxy for Planet Spode would take far too long, and I believe the galaxy is unique to each user/computer.

Chances are, it's either fake, or they were talking about either the Galactic Core, Earth or the Grox Homeworld (GroxCentral).

that video is obviously a fake. did you notice how he was using the scanner, not the lazer? he most likely scanned them beforehand, zoomed out, started the movie, zoomed back in, and scanned them again.

and we all know that spode is the galaxy, so it doesn't make any sense for there to be a "planet spode".

that isn't proof at all....he just says he found planet Spode....but it could be any planet....

basically he just scans a creature and says OMG THEY DONT SHOWS UP! then has the camera mess up
