Seriously though, I rofl'd.

We're talking about a game with bug-eyed cutesy creatures populating the landscape, and planets with pink mousse swirls instead of mountains and eyeballs growing on trees. A cube shaped planet isn't exactly breaking any walls that wern't already in ruins.

I want cubed planets

Why are Mac patches always released later... why not at the same time... I feel left out

Greetings comrades, if you are reading this, our attempt at global domination shall be realized soon. Please deploy all of your remaining peanut butter southward to your nearest representative for construction on the doomsday device.

Precisely. It is naught but another nail in a well-sealed coffin for Spore 2005.

Goodbye.

Because they're not supporting the Mac port in-house. It has to go through these guys first:

Now you know who to complain to.

Spore definitely needs more of that.

Can you start games on them? How would that work, I mean like what does it look like to "walk over the edge?" This is very strange, I'm waiting for a video before I get this patch now.

I actually believe that odd and interesting formations like unusually shaped planets, add a little more value to the game.

Also, there are extremely large stars that have pink and purple tints due to their fuel consumption. I wouldn't mind seeing them.

Hey, who are we to judge? How much of the visible universe can we actually see? We can see stars, and galaxies. We haven't exactly caught glimpse of any extra-solar planets aside from when they transit their parenting star. We don't have any closeup shots of planets orbiting other stars like we do of those in our own solar system, so who knows? There very well could be cube shaped planets out there! I hope they're made of cheese at least ..

Note: I don't mean to insinuate at all that there are cube shaped planets out there, but honestly, we're in no position to determine what's possible, or impossible.

It would have to be very hard cheese. Or am I limiting people's imagination by discounting a pointy Gorgonzola planet?

Goodbye.

Reminds me of that scene in Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy.

When Arthur Dent entered that planet creation company, and there were models of different planets in different shapes. I remember i saw a diamond shaped one too

Ask any physicist about gravity, and they'll tell you they still can't explain it. It's common knowledge.

I would like to see more moons for planets, instead of one moon for your home planet. Our gas giants can have upwards of 30+ moons, for Pete's sake!

Of course, being able to do "Galactic God" type stuff would be great.

"Let's push this planet away from the star."

"Let's light up this star with a few uber-nukes, thereby destroying the entire local cluster."

There could be consequences with great power, too.

"Uh-oh, looks like I pushed the planet so far out that it just lost orbit."

Won't the cubes still anger the flat earthers? A flat Earth isn't a cube, it's a sheet of paper.
