Apparently, I don't have enough space to install the patch, even though I have 50 GB of free space. The first patch installed successfully though.

Help please?

Seems to be running fine so far.

Just a heads up; don't cancel the patch install even if it seems stuck on 0%. On my system (which is a reasonably fast Vista 64-bit rig) the patch took nearly 10 minutes to finish; stayed at 0% for at least 2 minutes straight. It installed fine after that.

Hmmm... I cant patch because I cant install EADM, because the installer says that my Drive B: is invalid...
Drive B is a maped Drive that I should not demap or else I will not be able to use "My Documents"

Yeah, that happened to me with the first patch I think it worked on the second try though... odd.

Ditto. Though I'm on try 3.

if you have any mods/hacks (.package files), remove them for the patch

Unfortunately I don't know how to fix that, but it seems it's really stupid useless file that isn't found.

brr, I hope I won't get such error messages like in Patch 1, *remembers trying to patch crysis*

Didn't fix it. With some games, I'd be running a no-cd EXE because CDs are a pain to move around, and that'd probably be why. With Spore, however, it doesn't require the CD in the drive, so that's not the case.

Unless editing a config file somewhere was enough to confuse the thing, I have no idea what the problem is.

Well, it's related somehow to the EADM, like it's lost track of what it's doing.

I remember that even changing a cfg messed the patch installation. (there were 3 txt files if I recall) Best is to dump your issues there: http://forum.spore.com/jforum/posts/list/0/8903.page

edit: by the way, someone wants to make a screen of those cube planets? (currently I can't play spore or patch it because of not being on a computer strong enough to play the game)
