Alexia smiled a little blushing slightly. Even when she regularly talked to people, such a small compliment embarrassed her."Well, only when it comes to certain things, Give me a plant to identify, I can probably figure it out, but not the exact species. I still have trouble with math, though. I have to count on my fingers or write it down on paper. If you bring up physics, well, it's numbers and letters, I don't like it." She filled up her bag and stood up. She walked over to Lyra and petted Corbin, "Well, I should probably ask, but do you maybe have an idea of where we are? I'm not sure."

"I'm not to great at math but I know the basics, subtraction addition excetera." Lyra grinned, stuffing another strip of jerky into her mouth. "I am not really good at reading and writing either." She said, her words slightly muffled by the meat. She swallowed and grinned again. "But I'm good with directions so I know where we are." She put her hands on her hips, rocking on her heels. "We are near the center of the state of Georgia."

Alexia frowned at her, "I know that. I mean where in Georgia." She scratched Corbin under the chin, and the dog tried to lick her hand. "Man, I guess both of us need a map, huh?" Autumn was pretty glad that there was another person to talk to. Animals were great, but they were no substitute for another human being.

Lyra laughed. "I'm not sure what the specific town name is but I know where we are in relation to the rest of America." Lyra looked over at Alexia, glad to finally have a friend. "But yeah a map would be ideal."

Alexia shrugged, "Well, maps are nice, but then again, a lot of the signs are kinda rusty. All I know is that everyone should probably head north. The hurricanes are pretty bad. I mean, I can always take shelter, but I'm worried I might be heading south, towards the ocean." She frowned, noticing Lyra's bow and arrows. "So you're an archer?" She asked.

Zullen left his tent to see the ruined skyscrapers of Los Angeles. He wasn't far from the city. Close enough to raid food, and far away enough to stay away from thugs... And cannibalistic refugees. He had seen one around here. What has been seen cannot be unseen. He seemed to nearly be out of supplies, so he had to make a dash for the 7-11 at some point. The sun was burning him, it was probably in the upper 90's. Packing his stuff, and Jadestone, he set off for the city.

Starr mumbled something incoherent, even to herself, and leaned against the wall of a convenience store, trying to get into what little shade there was beneath it. The temperature change wasn't much, but it was enough to make her stop complaining to no one in particular.
She sat for a while before deciding to raid the store for supplies. Picking up a brick, she threw it at the glass door and shattered it. Careful to not step on the broken glass, she entered and started browsing for a small meal, as well as anything she could take with her.

Zullen soon arrived at his local store. He had stolen the keys earlier, providing easy entry. But it looked like he didn't need them, as the glass had been broken, and he heard someone inside. "What the..." Zullen muttered under his breath, reaching for his pistol. Pistol at his side and Jadestone on his shoulders, he entered the store to investigate, soon finding the culprate.

Starr was unaware of anyone watching her as she practically ripped a can of tuna open and, disregarding manners, shoveled the contents hungrily into her mouth. It tasted so good after eating nothing for three days.
Still eating, she turned her back to the entrance and started to look for bottled water.

After watching the stranger gulping down the food hungerly, Zullen's disoriented mind matched her up with someone. Oh my god, she's the cannibal! "What... The crap are you doing here!?" he demanded.

((Uh, an odd reaction))

Starr whirled around, both in fear and indignation. Who dared to speak to her in that tone of voice?!
A bit of tuna still stuck to the side of her mouth, she opened her mouth to speak, but noticed the pistol in the stranger's hand and decided to refrain from snapping at him. Instead, she attempted to be submissive.
"I'm... I'm hungry." she growled.
Submission wasn't really her thing.

It took Zullen a second to realize what he had just said... And thought. He blinked a few times. "...Right.." He muttered. He noticed the mess she had made. "And seriously, manners. He muttered, suddenly sounding like a strict parent. "I'm serious, you're acting like a... A cannibal." He seemed to repeat his thoughts.

"H-hey!" Starr cried, stomping her foot, "When was the last time you ate?! I'm starving!"
She steamed for a second before adding with a huff, "Besides, I didn't expect anyone to come by. Otherwise I would have been more dignified."

Zullen shrugged, seeming to lose all hostility. At that moment, Jadestone had gotten restless and crawled off of Zullen, licking the uneaten tuna that was on the floor. Zullen glanced at Jadestone before turning back to the stranger. "I'm sorry, I guess I overreacted." Seeing the chance for a possible friendship, he added: "By the way, my name's Zullen."

Starr considered the prospect of a possible alliance. It appealed to her somewhat. She knew she didn't have the skills to survive on her own, that she needed help. She might as well introduce herself.
"I'm Starr," she said, smiling a bit and bowing her head for a moment.
