It depends on what you want whether you start as a creature. We are keeping the old style of evolving from creature/cell to spacefaring race, and most current character races are coming back, but we are adding two new player categories.

One category is where you start off with a large city state with steam punk technologies and or minor reality warping abilities(depending on your taste). Other players will share this world and have their own city state, so trade and war can occur. The race that dwells here is the My Sims, so while interaction will be common, custom races won't be around. Here you deal with other cities, and eventually a far off hive mind.

The next category is where you control a gang in the ruins of a destroyed empire. Your troop starts off self aware and have extremely advanced tech, but because of the collapse you have no clue how to repair or make your technology. So a goal for this region is to recover tech and dominate the other gangs.

It may not make sense how this will connect, but it should mesh well.

So... I can be an Ork like character?

I'm definitely making another race with the second group.

I tip my hat to all of you for posting on this thread, I think I can give away some info...

The second gang mentioned by PITHADIUS are known as the Rogue warriors, and inhabit the region of the mega planet known as Necro.

Space faring species will inhabit Cosmo, the region that makes up the rings of the mega planet, these rings are made of planets and small stars, and it is here that the MOSSA will start.

Also, Welcome Comrade Jimmeny, and new friend Snerus, I doubt either of you read the recent posts of LATG, but I control the Mikilo, one of the founding nations of the MOSSA, along with the Olupuns of DragonEye and the Sizzz-Shling of Pithadius. I will also be controlling "water".

PITHADIUS gave me the new OP, so I will edit that on now...

I also added all the pictures that I could.

I want to know, is Oraacini in the Cosmos thing? Because I don't want them there yet. I want them to go through a period of brutal, brutal turmoil until they finally arrive. I plan to have a flamethrower scene...

Luke, listen. If they are pigs, they aren't humans. Only humans(and aliens, and chimps) can post in the Sporum. Also, it wouldn't be cannibalism, casue I ain't pig, they pig, I like bacon, conflict resolved.


I plan to have more epicness...Its a shame Kifley had to die. I just had nothing to do with him. A new leader will stop making some of the more...crazy Drakon populace believe that Kifley is a god.

Out of curiousity (and a desire to join) where exactly are the sky islands where new players can evolve new races?

I dunno. Only just found out about the mega planet.

The sky islands are "normal" sized planets that revolve around Latu. These planets revolve around "normal" sized stars, which in turn rotate around Latu. Think of it like Saturn's rings; but with much less collisions and some rocks spin around larger glowing rocks.

Well a few billion years have past from LATG to now, and during that time the remains of the two MOSSA galaxies and your three worlds merged with Latu's asteroid belt to form Cosmos. But since your people were asleep for those billions of years, the fighting will pick up right where it ended, so you can still go through a war.

For rogue warriors you can use any race, and for Cosmos you evolve from a creature of your choice. Only Animus has limits of your race.

I dunno. I ain't picking any. I keeping mine.
