Look for the Crocodiles and Sharks though - they survive mass extinctions, and so do many smaller animals.

Hope they fix your problem soon. I know how it is to be on Spore Withdrawal Syndrome.

Glad to see you are able to clarify the receipt issue. I'll make note of it on future Help threads.

Not yet. They say they will, but they won't say when.

Yeah, the moment EA started plastering their Logo at the beginning of all the games they work on (or even just distribute) is when quality tanked harder than a US Land Fleet across a civilian town.

I could have done it better with the same funds and manpower. 'It' being the variable in this statement. - Me

I did tech support for a financial software company and they charged $3/min. I felt like I was raping people just by answering the phone. Anyhow, it's frustrating on the techie's side as well. I will continue to spread my story as much as possible, because my issue has been resolved...for now.

I dont' know what will happen when I upgrade though...read on:

16 hours have passed.

Checked my E-mail: Nothing.
Checked my Phone's Caller ID, and Voice Mail: Nothing.
Tried playing the game: Same Error.

Status: Unresolved.

hey Dairuka,

sorry to be logging back on today and seeing that it's still unresolved. but i'm curious.. did they give you a reference number? or some kind of query number?

if so you might be able to call back and get an update.

I think they made us see their logo with the patch so we can know who to hate

Can you say "lawsuit?" Seriously, if that happened with my game I'd take them to court. >.< I am so glad I upgraded my CPU BEFORE I installed the game....

But does this apply to the Sims 2 games by any chance? o_O; I own all of them including all the stuff packs except the new one that's to be coming out. (I shudder at the thought of having to upgrade AGAIN to get Sims 3 and then find out Spore will no longer work for me. It's bad enough I run Vista, it's worse if I can't game on it.)

Hi Akasha

The only Sims 2 game it applies to my knowledge is the Digital Download version of Apartment Life.

All the discs versions are activation free for sure as I play them on a PC without any internet connection.

You will not get achievements if you use the cheat console in that game.
To earn achievements you need to start a new game and not use the cheat console.
