I don't think this will work. See, the Sims 2, though it did have part packs, they didn't work very well due to the fact you could get parts of equal or better quality from modders... And for free even.

But, uh, modding Spore?

They said it'd be difficult, and I'd have no clue how one would go about sharing a creation with custom parts.

I'd love more parts; I'm a creator guy, after all, but by darn, the expansion packs are going to need CONTENT as well as new parts. If they're just going to advance on this whole idea of selling small part packs to us in little bites.. Yeah, NO.

And this is just incase this thread is SRS BZNZ. I mean, I have my doubts of course.

Ok, so there's a thread on Gamefaqs by the exact same user.
That's all I can find. I got nothing by running a search on X-Spore's forums.
If there was something there, I wouldn't be surprised if it was, again, the same person.

The way his posts are written even indicates trolling to me.

Seeing as Maxis did this with sims 2, its a little more real of a prospect than other games where you get bigger expansion packs than these.

I thought the first expansion was going to be 52 weekly micropacks in 2009 called :

'We Bought Them We Own It: EA Does Spore'

do a search for Spore Cute and Creepy Parts Pack in google. it comes up with a gamestop link that no longer exists. look at the Cached site though.

dude. use google. do a search for spore cute and creepy parts pack. there's a legit gamestop link there. just click on the cached file because the link was removed.
