Well, got some development on that: I installed Spore + C&C& + GA on the other computer back at home, wich has a far lower grade MoBo with onboard Intel VGA (a very, very weaker performance, comparing to mine), and it ran all Ok. Note: on the second computer I have Windows 7 RC x64 installed. I have a dual boot with x32 version on my desktop, so, I'll give it a Try (I can live with a dual boot), but still, it is so odd why it is the only game to crash on my Windows Vista :-/

Hooray, problem solved. Now, how would I now that? The problem was the forder name I was giving it to install ("G:\Games\Spore - EP1 - Aventuras Galácticas").
I re-installed one last time using the default name ("D:\Games\Spore_EP1") and PRESTO, there you go. No crash, no missing textures, nothing. All 100% ok. How would I know that, since no game or software I installed EVER complained about that?
