Unfortunately that fix did nothing for me. I still get the space lag and invisible creatures.

I've given up on waiting for a fix, as they haven't even acknowledged the problems caused by the patch, despite all the complaints. I have no interest in reinstalling and starting over, so it's refund time!

As much as you want SLI to work great, you may have to use the 175.19 driver for Spore to run.

Good news - we think that we may have figured this out. A temporary workaround is:

If you are experiencing the lag issue, please try adding -jobPriority:0 to the command line (Make a shortcut on your desktop, right-click and select Properties, and add the -jobPriority:0 to the Target line).

We have had reports of this improving the problem.

We are planning to address this with a more permanent solution.

Thanks -

The same lag is happening to me. When I do what this said, the space where you put "-JobPriority:0" was faded out. It wouldn't let me click inside the box, and all it said was spore. When I open the file location, all it brings me to is another link to the game.

EDIT: Also, where do you find the securom so I can remove it, and when I do find it, do I just delete it?

Try going to sporeapp.exe (in Sporebin) and right click it>send to> desktop (create shortcut). I don't see why this wouldn't work.

About removing drm I'm afraid it's not that easy but it is possible. I think there is a way posted on sporedum (a spore site), so either google it or pm sporemasterlightning that I believe posted that.

I can't find anything on my desktop called sporebin or sporeapp.exe. When I installed it, it automatically went to the default games folder on my laptop.

Oh sorry I didn't make it clear, you have to find sporeapp.exe in C:/Program Files/Electronic Arts/Spore/Sporebin . Then do what I said.

I tried searching for that and it doesn't exist.... I also clicked on All Programs>Electronic Arts and all it showed was "EA Download Manager".

You must have installed it somewhere else then. Open up windows search and search for 'Sporebin' without the ' signs.

You mean spore? Yes. It is on the top of the list. If you mean sporebin, no that isn't there.

Then that is very strange. I guess the only thing I can recommend is uninstall it through control panel then reinstall it and patch to 1.03, in the default location.
Don't forget to back up your saves

Plus keep the My Spore Creations folder in Documents
