I like the idea, would definetly give you much more in-depth feeling with your creations.

But it may make it too complex for younger players of Spore, and your computer would need a whole lot of ram and some serious processor power.

Love the idea though

Great idea, but I think that amount of detailing would use up too many resources. However, I don't see why they cant have tags on graspers, like they do on feet, to edit the length of fingers/nails or make the hands wider/fatter.

Well, Maybe for Vertebrae and Teeth but not much else, I hate How it's hard to make a flat turtle... And how My Dinosaurs don't have enough teeth or they don't show much... along with the Crockisser, it's not a Crocodile Mouth if it doesn't show teeth in it's standard, non-morphed form, atleast allow teeth to show when the Top and Bottom Mouth Pieces are somewhat Equal in size, That should happen, and possible make a Vertebrae Lengther to Lengthen Vertebrae to make them stiffer, because a Giraffe's neck it stiff, you can't make a Giraffe in Spore with no Vertebrae Lengthener.

@DragonFish: It is only as Complex as Maxis makes it

Both Ideas, this Bone one and the "Pelvis Editor" I think would do well as part of an Advanced Editor mode activatable through the use of an onscreen Button in the Editor. Send this Idea to the Advanced Editor Petition Thread, its 50/50 if they'll add it. In case you're wondering Yes I like the Idea but find it to complicated for the most Casual Gamers.

Sounds really cool. Like maybe an anatomy, and even physiology expansion where you assign roles to parts of the main blob structure of the creature editor, not just attach parts to the blob. At the least, it'd be nice to have more control over the spine then just z-axis, and fat/skinny, but I think the animation work would be the major technological problem. Don't think that's technically possible before Spore 2, imho.

And I wouldn't do away with the current parts system at all. It's that kind of cut and paste creativity that is the heart of Spore.

A range of teeth parts would be a good idea. Maybe the way to do it would be to take the teeth out of mouths and fit the mouth with teeth locations, so we can mix and match teeth and mouths, have less teeth, etc..

Sounds cool. This could be implemented by having an advanced creator and the current creator. A flesh build up tool would be cool too. So would a skin stretch between two or more bones.

Sorry! I necro posted. won't happen again!

Only one simple thing....

Why would we waste complexity adjusting bones? You can already make joints larger, and altering the size of them wouldn't do anything in-game...

It would be very nice (I wish I could do this on multiple occasions) but the programming would take forever and you would edit it with a 2D perspective... on the screen, where you cannot make the mouse come out of the computer...

I have been treated like dirt in multiple threads just because I am new. I am getting tired of this so please don't.

it would be a good idea, but it would be a little too advance for some. the whole concept of this game is being simple too play, although i would like to see this in it, i just dont see it happening yet
