Easy (sort of):
1.) First, download a Grox .png from somewhere (save it to your desktop).
2.) Download Tsearch or Cheat Engine (Google is your friend for this).
3.) Download Spore Hack.
4.) Start up Spore in windowed mode and open Spore Hack.
5.) Go into the creature editor, and drag the .png from your desktop into the editor. It should load without any problems.
6.) Click on Options in Spore Hack, and choose force-save (and maybe force-load, just to be safe).
7.) Save it.
8.) Now, go here and follow the guide, just to step 7.
9.) Go into the creature editor, and freeze the value.
10.) This guide will tell you how to pick what you play with in the cell stage, remember to choose Create Your Own.
11.) Go into the My Spore Creations folder, and choose The Grox from the Creatures folder.
12.) Drag it into the cell editor, and it will load!
13.) Put on flaggella, mouths, and eyes so that your cell can actually be used.

It doesn't autosave. If you play 10 hours and don't purposely save, and then you X out, you will lose the whole 10 hours you played. I guess most of us have been burned by that at least once.

Some people have asked for autosave. I really don't like it, since I would rather save on my own.

awww man. so it only saves the creatures but not your game? because he is in my sporepedia as evolved but in my game as not. =[ they tricked me.

It helps to curb the number of duplicate threads.

I think MagmaGroudon does excellent in-game playable creature, and many of them are based on her history of the Grox, which is very extensive and detailed. Lots of fun, especially if you like the Grox.

The Grox are cyborg creatures guarding the galactic core. They have 2,500 systems.

Well, if you don't destroy the last of their systems quickly enough on Hard Mode, they begin to recolonise, so if you aren't careful, the number you take out may well become 2500 or more!
