I feel much the same way about "zimbar"; great word, and the guy who says it sounds like a DJ.

Actually, I think it's the same guy who says "Babbalabbasqueep"...

The problem is that Spore has become a coloring book instead of a chemistry set

Oh yeah, I love the way my guys talk, but it gets old after a while too. I can't even begin to guess how many times I've heard "Rolfiolio haprood en rolfiolio!!"

There's one language that really irritates my ears. It sounds like a recording played backwards. I wish I was tech savvy enough to save the sound and play it "backwards" to see if it says anything.

I know the one you're talking about. It actually reminds me a lot of the voices in Okami.

According to the wikipedia article for Okami:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Okami wrote:The characters' speech in the game is actually created by scrambling samples of voice actors' speech, with more emotional lines being created from voice work given in that emotion.

I wouldn't be surprised if the same technique was used here.

Funny nonetheless.
"Shergen hoggen floggen!"

Mine don't, some of them sound gruff and aggressive, some sound light and airy.

Kills my ears, especially when it belongs to one of my neighboring allies, whom I need to visit a ton to get cheap tools.

You know, I think it's time the next patch gave all space creatures more lines so we could hear new things for once.

The devs ought to know the voices get old after a while, and we get so tired of them we plead them to get more vocal lines put in.

What do you know about Spore? If ANYTHING AT ALL, add and edit to the Spore general knowledgebase at SporeWiki. (And yes, you can even add articles about your own creations!)

I wish my race would just do this sometimes:

IMA FIRIN MAI LAZOR!

just for no reason, however I did hear that few times from my race.

I've heard my species, on more than one occasion, say "Ooh, mamaluigi, babba labba squeeb." If it isn't what he's saying, it's still funny. I love the way Scientists talk; it's like a nice version of the Grox. The most annoying has to be opponent Warriors. Their grating voice hurts!

Pemflek.

I use it all the time in the real world.

I could have done it better with the same funds and manpower. 'It' being the variable in this statement. - Me
