I wanna recreate the storyline of Destroy All Humans! 2. Is that too much to ask?

Yes i agree, I have read quite a lot of peoples plans that seem a bit overenthusiastic. Im looking forward to being able to create missions nonetheless!

No one has ever accused Spore or its fanbase of being realistic.

All I want is a cutscene editor and SCRIPT EDITOR. SCRIPT EDITOR IS A MUST!!!

I have to agree murph04 we are expecting to much. If we keep our exceptions low then when it comes out it will be better then we thought it would be. Putting my expectations to high almost ruined Spore for me, especially Tribal stage. But I hope it is good a redeems Spore for me.

That was a great game! But that would need Multi-planet. Maybe DAH1 or DAHBWU

I believe that in missions you can link planets to other planets.

then again do we know how long it takes to trek the whole planet?

I think he means a scripted event system. It's a weak programming language used to perform more complex sequences of events or to handle variables and numbers in the background.

If GA has one then the potential is incredible.

I am certainly affraid GA will, like Spore, not live up to the hype. However, GA offers actual gameplay editing abilities. Within the limitations of the editor, that will allow creative people to create so much more than stale creations. You only have to look at a limited game like the demo of Trackmania Sunrise, a game that revolves around creating tracks in an editor. The demo was very limited in blocks and allowed ammounts, and still awesome tracks were created with it.

Now we can edit gameplay and not only looks, I'm sure GA will add some depth to Spore.

Depending on how in-depth the whole thing is and how other people review it, I may get it and try to work together with the PattheWanderer (if he feels like it) in the creation of an epic mission based on his Wanderer Mythos.
