Going through the tools listing I have noticed many more things with question marks. Two under social. Two under main tools. And four under weapons. I will overlook terraforming tools because I know how to get those. What are these tools? How do you get them? What are the rewards?

3. Returning to the Center

I have wondered if you ever return to the center of the galaxy. Partly because I am running out of stalves of life and partly because if would most likely answer my other questions. Do you return? What happens?

Well since these haven't been marked answered and I cba to read through this thread, I'll just give you a 42 on it.

2) Hidden tools, these are actually super powers, there are 3 social, 2 main and 4 weapon superpowers - they're associated with your archetype, i.e. knight, shaman, warrior, trader, diplomat, whatever - and you apparently have one of the three social ones.

3) You can indeed return to the center of the Galaxy, but it doesn't give you anything special, you're limited to 42 staffs of life. This game focuses a lot on terraforming, and doing it yourself is all the fun!

i did go to the center go away and gome back but when u gome back ur ship vant go trough it just rolls around that.
(and of course i did it with cheats it was some trainer made for spore XD)

If you cheat, achievements are disabled on that save.
It sucks, I know.

Who cares about achievmentss? they dont do anything,it just makes you more popular, and i dont care about that

I would think some are also SW/Archetype Consequence-Tools, like Pirate Rally (Warrior) and Cash Infusion (Trader). Only a theory sorry.

The other badge: Badge Outta Heck, has been confirmed i think.
For this badge you have to defeat all of the Grox by conquering their planets.

They also unlock stuff, which I care about

Hidden tools - Those are superpowers. You can only have one at a time based on your philosophy

I don't think there is a Joker Badge, it's just an Achievement.

The Joker is a badge, not an achievement... Just look at your badge list in space phase.

about the joker badge... I made a planet specifically for cheating I even named the creature on it "Cheater" so ya I don't mind if I get the Joker Badge on that planet

I believe the hidden tools are the tools you get for your "class" when you graduate to space stage or change it with a quest. I returned but got nothing, but I've not come close to running out of staff of lifes yet. I hot most of the grox out of the center of the universe which are the harder ones. Around the edges it's easy. It seems the further they get from the core, the easier they are to kill. I drop in with shield take out the two colonies and the ships that followed me in and then go to the other planets that need it and raise or lower their temperature until they are habitable. You don't have to put any animals or anything on it, though you can. And I highly recommend raising a few races up so that they can inhabit formerly grox only areas.

This is the first I've heard of that, although it doesn't surprise me. Obtaining all the badges is a goal of mine. Curious, but does this super secret rank involve the joke badge and BOTH Grox badges?

Preferably, the ally with grox is optional. Any playstyle can eventually achieve victory over the grox, but some of them just can't quite manage to make them an ally. It's the math, if it isn't possible without gracious greeter to provide 10 points to the relationship, then it isn't possible for all those other archetypes.
