Lets be honest Unreachable Grox worlds is kinda like a carrot tied to a stick hanging on the back of the rabbit.
They can see it and almost touch it but not quite.

I am not complaining about depth or DRM or any of the other thing that people have every right to complain about.
I am complaining about a Flaw in the game that is nearing 4 months old and has never been addressed.

I asked over a week ago and haven't gotten a response yet hopefully they at least give some kind of an answer here, although my thought on how the unreachable systems came is that when they were programming how far systems could be from each other to allow them to be reached based on the 5 intersteller drives they forgot to tell it how to take into account the reduced range at the core, not that they ment to do it but I hope that it will be fixed as soon as it can be

Oh I agree PK that its likely just an oversight but I am so sick and tired of this lack of response.

Look Its all well and good that they want toi keep us wanting for more( alot more since there is so much not there)

Its all well and good that they don't want to give away a surprise in an upcomming exapansion but this doesn't excuse the silence on this issue.

Look I respect the mods and sporemasters for the effort they take to take their free time and moderate the forums.They can pass on msgs to dev or management !Great! but without a reply their efforts quickly becomes pointless since they are unable to gather the requested information.

I could see how this would be frustrating for them and eventually turn them towards locking threads that they can't deal with.

Unreachable Grox planets are like these examples.
1) Great book missing the last chapter
2) Movies without endings * like- Broken flowers*
3) A sandox with a turd in it !and this is a big BIG TURD!

If the Sporemasters, Mods and Maxis(enternick) can't answer this stuff then who can and how do I get ahold of them?

When you have an issue with a product that can't be resolved with the frontline people who talk with the majority of customers you have to push your way up the ladder until you get to someone who knows the answer or can atleast give you one.

I am so sick of the generic answers that are given. I want a real answer!!!!!

I agree this needs to be answered as soon as possible. I'm tired of people saying they beat the grox and you just have to sit and wait for the stars to move thus duping the unwitting into wasting tons of time.

Just answer it and for the love of God tell us why it is that way so I'll at least know whether I shot myself in the foot by using a mod to get the last couple of dozen systems.

honestly

I expect a response maybe not the one I want but something .

Either they quash the thread or answer the question ban me or something . Any of those would be an answer.

I don't understand why this is a hard thing to address.

Unreachable planets exist making the grox undefeatable!

Why is it that to beat this enemy I must cheat. Why can't they take this simple issue address it as it has been the subject of many threads and just say . Yep we see that okay well fix it in the next patch!

I dont want an apology or anything and I don't think they did it on purpose.

Maxis tends to avoid replying to threads aimed directly at them.... Trust me though, they do read this stuff.

Id love to believe you Didzo. Actually I do believ you, its just I have to wonder, if they can actually take in information from players/customers/forum posters then I cant figure out pretty much all of their responses they've made publicly. Like WW said that he didnt know the demographic for this game. If he read/listened to pretty much any gamer, he'd know the demographic. Thats just an example to help you uderstand why Im weary to believe that they actually listen to us, not really to get into all that again.

I mean, I have to believe that they're still working on stuff that is spore-related. And they'd almost have to monitor these threads. Im aware of the strangle hold that EA has put on the whole dev/programing team concerning their posts here (basically Maxis/EA told the team NOT to post here), but this particular issue is pretty big, and its super strange that they havent even mentioned it, considering all the fixes that have already been implemented. *sigh* I hope that all makes sense to you guys lol
