No. Just saying. I am much better at creature editor, but I gave it my all.

No no no, you see, the PROBLEM is, not necessarily the way you use pieces (though that could probably be worked on) but the texturing and the flow. Time is nothing when you're building a creation, nor is complexity. If something takes you 20 seconds to build and is made of like 5 pieces then so be it, if you think it's done, it's done. But what you need to realize is that things can flow together. Get your angles straighter, more precise, it's all about precision. Put things together that look like they should fit together. So many times I just see random weapons placed on a vehicle, but in actuality, they must be placed not necessarily as weapons, but as alternate parts. Don't just use the guns for guns, they may make an awesome set of suspension for your car. Go for realism, but add your own twist. It's not too hard once you get the hang of it, but just do what looks RIGHT. If something doesn't look right, move it until it does. If you can't change it any further due to editor limitations, then find a way around it. Being an awesome creator is not about what you can put out, but what you can put in to each creation. But again I say, make the pieces work for YOU, make the textures work for YOU. Here's what I'm saying...

With proper texturing, you get a beauty like this:


But using one of the default texture sets, you get this atrocity:


What I'm saying is, never use the pre-set textures. Take the time and edit the colors, edit the type of texture, play around and see what you can get. You're not going to get a convincing.. Well.. Anything unless you can take the textures and make your own ones. It's not that hard and is actually my favorite part of making a vehicle. It can take something bland and dull and unimaginative, and turn it into a beast with personality.

Now go, get them.

EDIT: Take some time looking through the works of more experienced creators, people like (conceit) myself. Some of the others I'd reccomend for vehicles are EllipsisMotors, Luckyburdock, EchoSierraAlpha, MikeSinner, Delayedreaction, Noname117, and DH106. Of course there are others, but these are some of the best vehicle creators I've seen out there, and personally I don't think I'm that bad of one either.

That was actually pretty inspirational for a speech that was mostly about painting.

Sorry for late reply. Yes, I can certainly deal with requests, just remember I specialise in Spaceships and Creatures. I struggle in some of the other creators.

EDIT: My time zone is GMT (England FTW) and It's holiday's right now, so I can do most times of day. When I'm back to school, working time will restrict me to after 9:30 evening, but I can probably release a creation or two in that time.

Is there any way that I can become a Request aide?
