For future reference, please avoid posting OOC in the IC thread.

I would like to be Minister of Education.
Do I have to fill in a sheet? I cannot see any in the OP.

((Another question: other than the things mentioned in the OP, is world history essentially the same? British Empire ect?))
Name: James McKay
Age: 43
Position: Minister of Education
Nationality: Baltican
How did you come to be in this seat of power?:
Came to his position in a relatively peaceful way (presuming such a thing exists in politics), and is firm believer in his self-termed 'Instilling' policy concerning education. He has been an important figure on the Education scene for several years, and earned his current position when his predecessor stood down due to his age.
He is rather...patriotic, believing that all persons should be taught the might and power of the UPB, even if history has to be bent somewhat to convey such a message. Takes a keen interest in not only internal affairs, but also the current diplomatic eddies of the world, even if it is not technically his position to do so. He does not like his opinion to be challenged, although will accept whole-heartedly if he is incorrect.
His 'Instilling' policy, put simply, involves, for lack of a better word, fanaticising the people into a spur of nationalistic patriotism, into believing that no nation can match the power of the UPB. Of course, even though this is certainly not the case, as long as the people think it is, you can ensure a strong stable nation and a populace that is willing to do what is necessary to make the UPB the world power. He is willing to fake history if need be.

Yes. World history is, for the most part, the same. You're accepted and can post whenever you like.

Heh, you have no idea how sorely tempted I was just to outright suspend him for that. It was [almost] the straw that broke the camel's back considering how disrespectful, immature and downright annoying he is at times around here. Including bluntly describing one of my RPs - IN ITS OWN OOC NO LESS! - as the most unoriginal idea ever. That galled me a little bit, no matter what elements of truth there was in the statement.
