There has been a massive problem with downrating recently, even to the point that several of us have had our creations deleted from the server. This thread is not aimed at getting you higher in popularity, nor is it to attack any creation no matter how horrible. This thread is here to keep creations from being downrated off of the servers by total community involvement. If you wish to participate in uprating creations, you may do so at your own discretion, no posting is nessessary for up-rating participants. I will bump this thread as needed. I ask that all up-rating participants get all five screen names as there may be a limited number of us online at any given time.

If your creation is being attacked by down-raters, post it here, and post it quickly. We will do the best we can to help you and ask that you, in return up-rate that next creation that gets attacked.

I, like a few other creators, know that a face doesn't mean a creation is good or bad, but you have a right to post that creation that's getting attacked so it doesn't need to be uploaded again and again.

i'll be participating in the helping get downrated creations back up from the red faced abyss they've been sent to. as a community we banded together here and there today to do this. though it was scattered. having this thread will help make it easier for those hit by the downrating quickly get the help they need so it won't end up with the fate of being dumped from the server.

Thank you RissaAngel, though I ask that any other participants PM me, or not as needed. With this, I seek to protect those concerned enough to participate by asking every participant in the up-rating process to not post regarding their participation.
I wish to be the only one to take the brunt of this so the damage is done only to me. If all of my creations are deleted from the server, then so be it. I will re-upload all of them and continue creating.
This is something that I seek to organise on behalf of the community at large, so your anonymity is for your creations' protection.

I need something to focus on so I can stop being upset about the lack of desire in the community and this will be something constructive. I'm in.

Thank you, Daunstopable1. Since the three of us have already posted, I guess all of our creations are at risk. Well, as much as I was trying to save you guys from that, it feels better not being to only one to put their creations on the line to help others.
It is truely a sad day here when such a thread is needed, but i'm glad that we can work together to help eachother.

it seemed to work today keeping the creations hit from being knocked off the servers. hopefully since they didn't actually knock any off they'll stop, though i doubt it, i guess we'll find out tomorrow if it has happened again.

Hey, all 50 of my creations were solid yellow when I checked about an hour ago, but I'll check things out when I'm on and uprate some stuff in danger of being red-faced.

Well I've only been hit once and it only went down to yellow but I don't know when or if I'll get it harder especially considering that I have officially shown I'm against it. I'm going to go ahead and throw Unobtainium out there to he said he would start uploading 2moro and that means he is at risk.

RissaAngel just made a good point. People that post their attacked creations need to know that they are being helped. We still need to keep a certian level of anonymity for up-rating participants so I ask that you PM the people that you help.
These measures are put in place to protect all involved against reprocusions made by the downraters.

here is my proposition.
we all one creation, by one user (or make a special one) and all reupload it, same creation no changes.

then we all make sure to uprate it 5 times each, and downrate anything that is not it (sorry, to those this would hurt, but drastic measures are needed)

we do the uploading at 7:00 eastern time (when the server resets)

if it goes well, Maxis will have to notice.

we're not having this thread to downrate anything. we are using this thread to help those that have been downrated save their creations from the red faced abyss. we aren't hear to hurt anyone else's creations. we are helping those that got/or get hurt only.

This thread is not for that, Crowbar. It is a legitimate place for creators to get help against massive downrating to their creations. If you have any schemes, keep them off of this thread please.

No. If you do this I officialy have no part of this what so ever.

No. If you do this I officialy have no part of this what so ever.

as both i and exinferios have both said, we are not here to downrate. we are here to help uprate those who get downrated.

are you suggesting to downrate to stop the downrate problem
