Well all I can say is that if he does indeed pick me I will do my best to do whatever is best

The mods will be elected. I'm sure arnie would be a good mod, as he already showed, but I want the mod to truly be trusted by the RP, and thus will have to be elected.
Rules will bind the powers of the mods, and I'll edit the OP very soon to include them.

So, first, DoctorWalrus, I'd be glad if could join! Not only are you an old player, but a good one, and we always need experience and measure in such an RP. You'd be a good mod, I think.

Secondly, dragon131, to answer to your three questions:
1-Yes, research or constructiont ime is based on the importance of what is being researched or built. But you must take in account the experience of your people in such a field, the availability of ressources and manpower. For example, you could research tables without researching wood and tools, but it would take you much longer, as you would not know with what to make it and how, and then its fabrication would also take time. And the knowledge of your race in that field is important too. You cannot venture into an area you have no idea of. Serendipitous situations are very rare, in real life.
2-Of course your race's culture can change over time! You can go from a slave nation to an industrial nation, all while passing to a religious nation, many times over! Societies evolve, that is the natural way of things.
3-As for the above, of course your government can change and be replaced by another, such as in the french revolution or bolshevik revolution. But a revolution must not take place for now reason. The group of people rebelling must have a reason to do so, of course.

And, finally, Blastoking, your race seems great! You can now start roleplaying, I believe. Oh, but where do you want to start in the map and what color will you take?

Concerning the seasons, the poll has more votes then members in the RP, so some non-members must have voted, even though there is an option for them.

So, do you all agree with the 2 pages per season? Otherwise we can do 1 day per month. But then, how many months would there be?

edit: I edited the map. Now the settlements are much smaller, and the Pra'lok are now divided in two groups, whose name I didn't indicate, but whose territories are showed by different shades of purple, and the two squares showing these shades next to their name. So other races can also subdivide their race in several factions.
I didn't add the Gregorians yet, as their location and color wasn't specified.

Can I have two races, by any chance? What I mean by that is have a symbiotic pair. Although not so much symbiotic.... they could function each by themselves, but would be far less capable and there would be very few circumstances at which I would separate them. If not, I can make them a single race, with the males and females being entirely different. But I'd rather they be separate.

Is everyone set on having time advance by posts? We could have it be RT based. Makes little difference to me, though, simply a suggestion.

DW, please describe these races precisely, please. We can't let you have too great an advantage. You'll agree, I think.

Everyone, how long should a year last? It mustn't necessarily last 12 months, you know.

And to whoever proposed to reduce the scale, the planet's equator is already of only 26,000 km, so to have a gravity allowing creatures as those you made, which are earthlike, it can't be smaller. The density will already have to be quite high to create a gravitational force roughly equal to that of Earth.

Concerning the time passing, I think a post-based time advance would correspond better to the rythm of the Rp. If it was slow, time would pass slower, whereas if it were active, time would pass quicker. If it were based on Real-life, it would always be the same, and would slow down active posters.

Also, we need each of our posts to follow themselves at a precise rythm. We can't all advance differently , because when we'll start to interact, we'll have to be synchronised. So what do you propose to address this issue?
