I agree with Most, if not all points on that list. They should be implemented immediately. If only with an extra Gig or two, what's to stop EA from putting it in an expansion? It's their speciality!

I think their should b more to ALLLL the stages because its like you get REEEAAALLLYYY bored of playing these stages over so you resort to galactic adventures

With 77 pages and counting, I didn't bother reading all that's written in this thread. But like all, I'd like to throw out my two cents - hopefully it's counted.
When I first heard of spore, I imagined it to be a "life" simulator - where random and unexpected challenges appear to which we have to adapt. I was disappointed with how easy and mechanical Spore turned out to be in light of all the hype of it's "parametric programming".
Here's what I'd like:
Creature stage - I want to see my creature "evolve". To have it slowly change from one form to another and inheriting the previous generations' advantages/disadvantages. It just seems dumb that my creature can go from a beak to mandibles in one evolutionary step and completely change it's characteristics.
Creature stage - Corollary to the above: parts should have a "tree" where one will "unlock" another.
All stages - I'd like the interactions with other species to be more varied. Where each action has mixed results; not just affecting relationships positive or negatively - too one-dimensional.
What I expected from Spore, was a game that provided design CHALLENGES. All I got was a sandbox. Don't get me wrong, sandboxes are great! But every now and then a little rain makes sandsculpting better.

I think you should be able to make diseases so you could use biological warfare in civilization and space stages.

i REALLY hope they see this.
they being the makers.
i think it should generally be more like the spore trailer. (look up Spore Movie on youtube, if you don't know what i mean.)
exept with better lighting on planets, then in the video.
and i agree, creatures should have they're body shapes influence they're attack and such.
also, i think it would be a good idea if you could control if your creatures pick food up to eat it, or just bite it.
and sticks should do dammage when you throw them, and shells could be thrown at enimies/given as gifts.
the game looked wonderfull, but when i got it, i was rather diapointed.
and you should be able to control the shape of cells better, like in the Spore Trailer (also on youtube)
there are so many disapointments that this has caused.
it needs work (the game, not this thread)(the thread.. well... THIS THREAD FTW!)
EDIT: i think that the transference through stages should be smoother. not "claws" to "spears" to "gun"
maybe more like "claws" "sharper claws" "claws on the end of a stick, AKA spears" "throwing "spears"" and so on. just... smoother. like, what's the liklyhood that a spiecies would go from no shelter to a building with screws and such in it?
not much. so i think it should be smoother, making it so there are "mini" stages throughout, as the creature becomes more advanced.
EDIT2: i sent a message to the creators, with a link to this thread.
apperently, i shall get a reply within 24 hours. i shall try to remember to tell what they say here.
hopefully we'll se some major changes to this game, and with good hopes, good changes.
EDIT3: they have responded. but it turns out that i senta message to the wrong people, which makes me think that there is no way to contact them, besides hoping that they either:
A: are talked to by the help center about the problem,
or,
B: they see this thread on the sporum

Ready? spore GA needs a gravity meter. You could set the amount of gravity on a planet. I thought of this while making an adventure for the mcapollochallenge. It would affect your ability of controlling your captain. Cool, right?

too much too read, tried search for the keyword.
anyway... my suggestion
Allow ability to answer transmission reguardless of location (except adventures of course) and allow instantoues travel to planet in Danger.
or...
(I like this one better) Still allow answering of transmission but also include a Wrap drive machine, that you place on the planet, and when you want to use it a map of galaxy pops up and to allow select a wrap point (when you mouse over it will tell you of any distress calls i.e pirate raids and eco disaters)

Have you tried one of the Betas for the creature stage I forget what it was called but it was way more in depth, though kind of glitchy, it had growth, significant and enviroment interaction and other things, it's cool. All the these ideas are great, the Assymetry is in now, I don't know, I think this stuff should be a sequal (with other enhancements to) as they change the gameplay a lot (although if it's a toggle-able option it would be great), but there are so many improvements to be made they need to make a sequal that includes these, and more, especially still more realism and enviroment interaction the creature stage, I loved the whole nest building and slower fruit regen... awesome ideas!

I have an idea: evolving parts. For example, If you start out with a bug wing, you continue with the bug wng, and it keeps improving. The game should be made so that you no longer can suddenly change your creature from bug like to mammilian,
Additionally, I think maxis should include tentacle like limbs.

Seeing as how Maxis feels that the space stage is the one that has the most room for improvement, and the community wants some multiplayer interaction besides the sporepedia. Why not make an expansion where you get to control your spaceship in a galactic dogfight against other players?

Sorry to piggy-back off this article, but these should also be included with the campaign
Asymmetry-- Alot of creativeness is being lost due to the lack of asymmetrical editing in the outfiters and vehicle creators. A simple asymmetrical editing on/off button would fix this problem.
Aircraft hight-- when an aircraft is placed in gal. adventures it is set to roam at a specific hight. This has proved frustrating to some as i can see from others adventures. For example if i made a floating city over the world and wanted flying vehicles in it I would have to lower the city until it was near the ground, ruining the "above the clouds feel of the adventure. Allow users to hold Ctrl and drag the vehicle up or down, proximity to buildings rules still apply.
Adv Weather-- Whether or not you use weather very much in your adventure is up to you, but having global or near global weather events such as rian, snowfall or ashfall are not up to you, unless you cranck up the complexity by puting many little rain, snow, ect. effects in your game. A few new slide bars should be made to control the type and severity of weather events that engulf all or most of a planet. These slide bars would easily fit in with the water level/ atmosphere/ temp. tab.
Scenes-- The adventure creator has acts and it would only do it justice if it also had scenes. When I say scenes I mean the ability to prioritize goals within an act. For example, if you want to have your captain talk to character 1 then talk to either character 2 or 3 you would have to make character 1 in act 1 and characters 2 and 3 in act 2. This just cost you a whole act from your adventure. And if the captain has to talk to characters 1, 2 and 3 in order then you lose 2 acts. If a button was placed next to the goal panel so that when it is turned on it would prioretize the topmost goal which would need to be completed first, followed by the 2nd or 3rd goals. After the button is pressed it should divide into 2 pecies the top one 1/3 the size of the original, the bottem 2/3. The top deactivates scenes in that act, the bottem prioritizes goal 2 and 3. Now an captain can complete goal 1 or 2 or 3, 1 then 2 or 3, 1 then 2 then 3. No more wasted acts.

I think that Maxis should add a (simple) Sun Editor in GA so you could choose the color and size of your adventure's sun and also choose if a sun is present in an adventure. There should also be a moon on your GA planet and you should have the same options as the sun.
Edit: @Godian: Asymmetry was added. (Check the creator corner and the like for more info)
