In a community where more and more people are leaving due to unsatisfactory, and which is slowly descending into trolling, flaming and general oblivion, one person has the courage to do something weird.

As you can see, this is my first attempt at a Spore comic. I would really like to hear your opinion about it. Is it a good idea? Is there any way in which I could improve the comic? Should I call the whole thing off or should I immediately sign a contract with EA for another 300 issues?

I have no idea if I will actually carry on with this, so... Snoop everything you can from this first issue.

I guess that's a bad start?

Aww... Well, this is already a point which I have to pay attention to in the future: the jokes. Thanks anyways.

I had to come back and read it four times over the course of an hour but I think I finally got it.

Kids are so scary, he's not afraid of anything else anymore?

A little tough to grasp, but I look forward to your future attempts, maybe.

Children are indeed scary.

They're retarded enough to stick a fork in a toaster and burn down a house, they're smart enough to take off the panel of the heater box - and retarded enough to blow out the pilot light. They carry diseases, germs, and all kinds of nasty mites and worms on them. They spread disease and viruses by never washing their hands, and touching things with mucus from their noses upon their fingers.

The very visage of a child who is sneezing and has a reddish forehead being lugged around by an idiotic mother makes me cringe with all the festering illnesses they are spreading. The fact the insurance did not cover arson - no matter who caused it - will leave at least six families homeless this year.

The prospect that these festering retarded sacks of meat will grow up into idiot teenagers who will drive recklessly, still blow out pilot lights, and still never wash their hands brings more horror to me than anything else in the world.

I loathed children as a child, and I loathe them now. I identified them as the source of my illnesses, and the cause of many problems when I was but seven years old, and since then I have wanted to outlaw them in stores, and schools, if they are sick. If you send a sick child to school you are a terrorist.

I say bah! Bah to children!

Finally someone I can see eye to eye with. People freak out if you ban kids from fancy restaurants, too! Like they all want us to have to listen to their crying baby because we weren't dumb enough to make the same decisions and if they have to then damnit so do we.

I'd like to remind you that you were a child much and that some children are not so... unpleasant.

Many children can be pleasant and hygienic, don't generalize; besides, it's a stage we all have to go through.

I don't look back at some of my more stupid moments poorly(though I tried to limit them there were some).
I learned from them and they made me who I am today, and I like me... generally.

Though I do know what you're talking about, some kids... they're both frightening and disturbing.

looking at your sig, and your comic, i am thinking english is your second language.

and perhaps that is the problem. the joke is lost in translation.

"how do you call a creature that went to university" in english should be "what do a call a creature that went to a university"

most people i knew when i lived in Mexico got the how do do call, what do you call thing mixed up all the time. that is why i am saying that, not to just troll. but trying to help.

Yes, especially since the pun in the sig is based on two words with the exact same Latin prefix, therefore not really a pun at all...

It's a good start, though. Just looking at that first creature's face made me laugh.

Heh. Got it the first time i read it.

I guess some people can relate to it, especially those with kids. I've looked after my 5 year old cousin before so I know the pain

Anyway, some positive feedback here, keep going, i'll cheer from the sidelines

Then again .. i wouldn't want to meet up with a few hundred of that things "children". That is one horrid deadly looking beast.

Need to work on punchline, and the font/speech bubbles.

Er.. and your signature maybe. "What do you call" instead of "How do you call"...
