don't worry all the cute creatures players probably feel the same way about the ugly and nasty creatures. this expansion pack means more 'fun' for both worlds by random downloads. if they even work without having the expansion pack, if not then we probably get 'cute and ugly' random and 100% guaranteed useless downloads

I'm pretty sure artist work on animations and textures. Also, DarthDoggie said mostly their artists. Not all.

There was a customer survey poll done prior to Spore's release by EA. It asked a bunch of questions about the Creature Creator. One of them was, you had to rate from 1-5 how much you wanted different kinds of parts. Some of the choices you had to rate were, robotic, alien, cute, monster, anime etc. I don't know if that survey was ever well known on this forum, and I'm sure a lot of people never even knew of it. But, my point is, though the parts in this pack may not be what many were looking for, I believe that whatever the results of that survey were, they had something to do with what was included in this pack, and possibly future packs.

I didn't say create them, I said add them. They had to change the Creature Creator to support new textures and animations. They didn't just drop those in.

She didn't say most of our animators are working on the Parts Pack, this is a company effort. What part of that don't you get?

I know, I did participate. And seriously doubdt anyone participating on the forum, after release of the CC, was "eager" to get more cute parts... But, what do I know... It could be.

A lot of programmers are needed (or a lot of time from few really good ones), even for a "just-for-the-looks" expanssion like this. But this expansion is been brewing from before release, so mostly doesn't matter... If they are also going to release a patched-patch... anytime soon.

Most likely, same people, or many are already working on the "space-expanssion".

I think I mentioned on other thread, the only mouth I saw, from the "creepy"-set... that same bug from the box-cover, rendered: Has a serious clipping issue on its mouth. The peak, trespasses itself. That doesn't seem to offer wonders about the quality of the parts pack to me.

Sorry, but I didn't see anything that would encourage me to fork over any amount of money. I was interested in seeing additional parts/colorations etc, for the creatures but this little sneak preview barely shows anything interesting. I am not interested at all in the space stage, though I thought I would in the beginning, so maybe the new additions might help there. I guess I am lucky in that I have had no problems with the game crashing and I have installed all the updates-patches. I do get an error sometimes while trying to get to MY SPORE PAGE or sharing a creature, I am also unable to do any sporecast related things because of those same SPORE server errors. I have a fast internet connection, not dialup.
