I was trying to make Knights out of my race, but I started carnivore and predator, so I'll have to try to get from red to green (friendly) in the tribal stage if there's no other way. It's not so easy on hard though, and I'll eventually lose the colony discount in favor of Spice Savant

Going red-red-green-blue is highly recommended. It gets you upgrades to Health and energy (it says Weapons but has been proven to be energy in general), Gracious Greeting (Automatic permanent +10 relationship with all empires), and Spice Savant.

Make sure to maximize your cities BEFORE advancing to the Space stage. You'll have plenty of money to buy buildings with, and if not, make sure you have all geysers captured, because taking over a nation won't give their geysers to you, and then wait for it. You'll start with the exact same 100,000 Sporebucks no matter what you have at the end of the Civ stage, and you'd rather spend it on weapons and junk than buildings that cost the same as they did before, where it's all you needed to buy. You can sell all of your vehicles for some quick money, because after conquering the world and capturing all geysers they're useless.

Creating creatures since '08. It's in my name.

sometimes, and I mean sometimes, the AI sucks and will only have a primary goal, like converting one of your spice nodes, or attacking your city. this is usually done with one unit. it is a form of raiding and can get people VERY annoyed. However, taking up quite a few units near where the enemy attacks, and hey presto! the unit is crushed!

You cant really choose where you make your last nest. It depends on the planet you choose and how it is set up.

Actually, you can. Before advancing to Tribe Stage, move around the continent until you come across another nest of your species (there are a good six or seven in total) and click on it to get the option to change your home nest to that one. If it's close to the water, then your city will be a port in Civilisation Stage. Has to be pretty close though - and sometimes it will look close enough but not be.

Yes, I am a roleplayer. No, your spam is not considered character development.

Ah yes, "spammers". A type of user on the Internets who posts mindless drivel on forums hoping to get a reaction. I have dismissed those claims.

If you are a religious, or military city, try to capture an economic city as fast as you can, when used with diplo dervish, you can buy out almost all of the cities provided you keep them from starting a war with you, remember that economic cities are the ONLY ones that can capture without lowering relations.

One time when I was playing religious, an epic creature attacked some of my vehicles. I had them fight back, and the creature suddenly stopped like it was mesmerized by the attack. I had all but 1 leave and it still did nothing.

If you are economic only care about speed with all kinds of vehicals, try to have it 100% it goes fastest, you make quick money, and it is also easy to claim all the spice in the beginning.

Oh, I have about 80% economic power and 20% speed.

I always have a lot of military/religious/economic power. That's my tip.

Build naval blockades around each seaport you control. They usually destroy any invaders before the city is harmed.

Make a fast vehicle with no power, then send a fleet to a city you want to take over. Right before the fleet gets there, change the vehicle to slow and powerful. The whole fleet will instantly change to the new vehicle, so you can effectively have max power AND speed!

And in creature stage, your nest must have seashells in it if you want it to become a port in civilization.
