In my game, they did not take back any planet, even the ones I left at T0.

Well think of it this way, if you terraform the planet will be T1 or T1+ for a while depending on your actions. if you have the staff of life mod which makes it permanently T3, they won't inhabit it because any planet T1+ they cant cope with and will die.

If you use a planet buster their planet will be gone forever. These are the two really good ways.

i'm thinking of more along the lines of what the real game has to offer me, no mods. plus staff of life and planet busters take forever to deploy.

They never recolinize. Heck I can still see the dent I left before with my other games. Random species even have a snaking path throughout grox space because of that dent. Made it easy to find the center again.

I personally would not trust skymin as I tested that moving grox planets theory. I sat next to a planet went and made lunch, watched some tv while glancing from time to time at the computer, etc. Their planets never move. there are apparently planets that appear to move but they sure aren't the planets I need to get to.

But back on topic the grox don't seem to recolonize or spread at all, at least on easy.

I spent hours wiping out the Grox except for the planets I can't reach . I finished a couple of days ago. Sorry to say I am finding them recolinizing . If you catch them soon enough they are week cities but left to long and they do strengthen. My thoughts are until we can reach the unreachable planets and wipe them out there they we haunt us for ever.

I'll just use the trainer to finish them off, there is no point waiting on maxis to fix this because they will take forever to do it.

pity I have to cheat after getting this far legitimately.

I'm at about 85-90% through killing the Grox that can be reached, and I've backtracked through much or all of that space and have never found any Grox colony in an arm that I'd previously cleared out, aside from the unreachable systems that I've made a list of (up to 46 observed so far).

One of my other races went into the center to discover storybook planets, and he encountered no Grox, only making radio contact with those far-off systems.

My suggestion to you is to make the game you want to play. EA is a big company with lots of interests. And if you've ever worked for a large corporation, you would understand this readily.

there we go. the nogalcenlimit mod works with 1.02, that's the only way to kill the grox right now. I'll do it tommorrow. Don't listen to skymin, that way lay only tears.

I saw a moving star system yesterday while fairly far towards the center, but it was still too far for me to reach. I don't have a video to prove it or anything, though, so I'm not expecting anyone to count this as evidence for their existence.
